Teaser: My new lightsaber "working" blade

BTW, here is the newest sound feature in my hilt.  It's been on the drawing board for years now, but technology has finally caught up to the point where we could do it.

What is it?  Interactive pitch control of the saber sounds.  Basically when the saber is pointed down towards the ground, the saber hum gets deeper and more menacing.  When you point the saber up, the hum gets higher - as if the saber is ready to fight.  The pitch automatically changes while you fight too.  :)

Here is a video showing this effect:

Enjoy.

AH MAN...

How MUCH and WHEN.?.?.? :D

not sure and soon. :lol

Update: The force push sound is back and working with the new wireless board inside the hilt. It is very cool to initiate a force push with the hilt. :)

The hilt would be up to you. You can put everything in a custom hilt if the dimensions are set up right. I am able to retrofit these into MR hilts pretty easily since the blade diameter I am using is the same. If you are looking to put it in a smaller sized hilt it is doable with some mods.

Here is a new shot of my green and blue blades outfitted w/ wireless modules. We will be doing a demo this weekend with the wireless setup using 2 blades. :love

You can see the aura the blades give off a little better. Its hard to photograph well but very distinct when you see it in person.

AWESOME. What do they look like with the blades switched off? I'm just wondering what the tip of the blade looks like? :D

THANKS.

WOW. I am definitely on board for at least one(and maybe two or three) of these things when they're finished. :thumbsup

I am working on purple and yellow blades now. Just waiting for some parts to come so we can build up one of each.

You da' man.

As a final comparison, here is a shot of all the blue sabers I could muster together. :eek

From the top down: Hyperdyne, blue plasma, Parks EL, MR Anakin FX, Lightech EL

It's taken years, but I think I've finally created a blade brighter than plasma.. Woohooo....

Oh, nice comparison. Now if you could pair the brightness of your new blades with the diameter of a Lightech EL blade it would be closest to how I feel the movie saber looked like... Sweet.

Go Gators. Now go cure cancer while you're on a roll.

Seriously though, that's some mighty fine engineering. I'm still staggered by the possibilities. :eek

Hehehehe. I hear ya, go gators. Now where is Mr. Two-Bits when you need him.... :)

I can't get over how bright those blades are. You say you can retrofit them into MR hilts? Would you keep the original electronics or would you have to replace them?

Yeah, you can retrofit them into an MR hilt. That is what I am using for test hilts right now. Bought some defective MR sabers for $30 and you got a hilt.

You do have to gut the MR stuff out of the hilt - their driver isnt compatible with my blade. So you need to use my driver with the blade to get it this bright and have all the extra features...
