Different handle, different blade shape
If I had ever found one, you bet your ass I'd have let you guys know :lol
There's a LOT of them that look pretty close, but I've never found one that's 100%. The only reason I think the glow was helped along was just because they dropped the scythe, and films rarely do that if there isn't a stunt version available to play with.
Also, it's incredibly rare for them to handle a hero anything with a blade to it. Hell, in the first season Sam managed to cut his thumb during the airport scene after begging em to let him use his knife in the scene. I think they still make fun of him for that even 7 years later :lol

I didn't mean it was exact, but close. The blade shape is close enough for someone who wanted a reproduction could get it and shave that bit at the bottom of the handle off. I haven't seen a 100% one in my short time of searching earlier this morning either. I think that someone would have to get a close representation and alter it. Or have master supernatural prop aficionado hydin make one for them :lol

I'm with Hydin, I've looked for the scythe too since I thought that would be awesome to have, but found nothing 100% but if your knife guy could do it that would be pretty sweet
Though he might be tired of supernatural things lol but it's worth a shot I know there would be quite a few of us that would want one.

It's damned close, but the handles a bit weird and the blades a little misshapen. For a display with the ring though, it'd probably work like a charm.
Don't think the dude has tired of making Supernatural stuff yet (he friggin loves those daggers), but he has other stuff he's gotta make first. Then again, he may virtually disown knowing me after he makes something like 20 angel blades :lol

I would bet the house the glowing of the handle was added in digitally. I saw this on google images from an old ebay auction. The bottom one looks just like it.

Speaking of the rings, I was meaning to ask what happened in your venture with them? Did you finish the set? I've been thinking about possibly nabbing one.

As far as the rings go, Pestilence is still in the works. Famine and Death are good to go though. Not bothering with War's since it's basically just a gold spinner band. It'd be like (pardon the pun) reinventing the wheel.
Also, got in one of Booksandcorset's demon chalice/goblet/2 way blood radio things, and it is friggin SWEEEEEEET. No pics yet, but that's cause I am planning to weather it a bit before I add it to the shelf.
I'll have a review up and rolling later this week if I get the time to finish up the paintjob I wanna do on it.

I bought a Death ring from hydin a little bit ago through somone else, and it sparked my obsession with finding the rings. Here's my 'good enough' set that I found scouring ebay and etsy with so many different combinations of search words. The Famine one hasn't gotten to me yet. Once I get it, I'll be replacing the stone with a smooth one.

Again, they're close, but not exact. It's entirely up to you about what level of accuracy you want your props to be. If you're okay with having one of those stand in as Death's Scythe (maybe until you're able to find a closer representation), then go for it.
