Watching that part of the episode, Dean says he only had enough ash for 5 shells, so might go with just 5 instead of 12 brass rounds.

does that include the one dean ate..lol Been awhile, but did Dean make 4 or 5 rounds? Also anyone ever ID Sam's backback from Season 7 and now 8? Maybe PIXELS can see if there's a name on the backpack.There's also a decent pic in Season 7 not sure which ep, but it's when theyre driving the small crappy car...lol and at the end Dean and Sam agrue and Sam walks away......it shows the backback pretty good there too.

Definitely 5. He says 5 rounds in the beginning of the episode, then he hands out 1 each to Sam, Bobby, Cass, and holds up 2 left for himself he then pockets. Any specific episodes on the bag? I can take a look.

Not sure about that one (I'll check the Blu Rays and see if I can spot the logo) but I know brand of the camouflage backpack he used in earlier seasons. It's a "Circa" (also spelled C1rca) brand backpack...I've had no luck at finding one though.

That episode where they argue is S07E06. I don't have blurays like Pixels so I can't really make anything out clearer than the pic you already posted.

Yeah, it is. You can partially see the logo in this shot, it's much clearer on the Blu Ray which is how I was able to identify it.

Cool, thanks. I checked the S7 episode you mentioned on the Blu Ray, and the shot is a bit dark and has a bit too much motion blur going on to really make out any identifying details. Which episode is the pic posted from?

I'll check what I have, but I lost my access to many of my 1080p episodes.
I'll do my best though!

And yes, Dean only gets enough ash to make 5 rounds in total.
I like the screenshot posted of the little holder he's using. I can't display shells next to a shotgun since I live in England, so I'll have to think of something. I'm thinking maybe a wooden box with straw or whatever like the one the phoenix ash bottle came in, with the phoenix ash bottle, a recreation of the holder for the rounds, plus some extra rock salt rounds, might look cool together.
I also don't want to have them loose on a shelf, because I own a kitten who thinks everything that is small and rolls belongs to her and must be chased behind the sofa.

Lambzilla.. yeah. I'd guess dean would've eventually figured out how impractical it was to display everything all the time. The reality of how easy it is to have everything in the trunk all the time? I dunno.

Either way, I really enjoyed the bit where he set up his room. It's rare to see them experiencing those kinds of normal domestic stuff. Plus, it drives home the point... that they've spent nearly all their lives on the road :/

Yeah Anyway I'm looking forward to seeing props from the batcave!

Now that I look at it, that's actually the same wooden hammer from the trunk. You can see the angled head and the curves in the handle. And here I thought it was a totally different hammer :facepalm
