The true replica of the Grail diary Hero prop

Much appreciated! But yeah, Magnoli is right. There is a big thread on it on COW. I first started that thread back when I was a Moderator but my first initial post is pretty old (2008) But look thur the post and you will find it all. :)
I'm going through the thread; the "official list" doesn't include the Arabic Letter, but later in the thread it seems to indicate that it is official, is that correct?

Yes, that is correct, it was found in the map of no names spread. However, im not 100% convinced it is the hero prop or the backup hero. But Im 99% sure its the hero. There are two diaries used in the hotel scene with Indy and Marcus. To spot the difference you really would need a trained eye cos its not easy to spot the difference. The hero prop is when Marcus takes out 'arab'' insert and then when he points his finger on the map that diary is the backup diary, which also is the Leap of faith diary and the one Hitler signs. Then when Marcus closes the book again its the hero but he holds it upside down.

Thank you! :)

Hello are there available pictures of original camel packs used in the props?
No, there are not. The camel packs used in the original hero prop are custom made and not real packs.

However, the camel pack you see in my diary is identical to the one used in the film.

Ill reply in my costume thread alittle later. If I forget just remind me.

That's interesting as this packet design is not visible on real historical camel packs, bottom has "camel 20's" and both short sides are different, so that design may have been done especially for the prop.

I just ordered a book that shows old cigarette pack art. I’m interested to see if the movie pack will be in there.

I'd be surprised if you find this exact pack out there somewhere and if you do please let me know. I really dunno why they made it like this. In my mind it would just be easier to find a real one, scan it and reprint. But it seems like they designed and build one from scratch. Proplife I guess.

my silver certificate with serie M like the one used for the prop, but way more distressed, and my original 100 francs 1933, serie 0 like the original used for the prop. This is the most close I could find to the original used to make the props for the film.

I have a original LARY ticket too, well not exactly LA RY, most LA MC, but very similar, and many eastern telegrams from the 20s and 30s, but the paper for both of them are very thin, so, doesn’t looks very well in my prop…
