I ordered it from the thai silks link you posted (thanks). Without the benefit of having a swatch sample or book, I had to go off of the extreme close-up shots of the fabric they have on the site. The color I got was Ink, but I was also considering teal blue and steel blue.

I realized that everyone is having problems with their ordered books! Well, I found a cheaper and way cooler copy you can buy on the link at the end of the post! It's like WAAAAY cheaper. And it is not Amazon or Ebay. (Remember to save a copy for me!! I want to get one!)

Does anyone figure out the leotard piece for Blondie yet? I'm still searching for a similair replica.

Yeah, I just realized something though. How did you order it from the site? I mean I just clicked on buy now and it directed me to Amazon... GAH! Am I missing something?
 
Thanks SI, that's exactly what I used. Simple and to the point. I've been getting a lot of PM's regarding the decals so I might open up an INT thread in the JY.

I've been looking at the weapons on display their and I have to wonder if these are all just the stunt versions and not the heroes. The sword is beautifully engraved but the rest of the weapons don't fit from what we've seen. As far as I can tell, besides the 1911, these are all rubber guns. I was looking at sweet peas "rifle" :rolleyes ,as it is on that site, and I can't unsee the mold lines! Same with the Glock, aargh.

They are stunts indeed, that 1911 has not the chrome-look. It looks like a toy. And the saya fo the katana is too light. They are cheating on us D: lol.
But we already talked about that, i don't want to go back :sleep

I spoke to the weapons master for the film. The 1911 isn't a stunt or hero, just an airsoft that someone made up. As far as he knows it wasn't used in the production.

just an fyi there's a JY thread for 1911 decals for those of you who've been asking. :confused :angel
 
I finally figured out the cheapest way to get the art book! I've been trying to figure out that website I gave out why it directed me to Amazon. Well, this makes me feel really dumb, I went on Barnes and Noble and put in my zip code for the book and you can buy it for the price that was on that website if there is a place that sells it and it's in stock. Once I get more money for it, I'm gonna go and buy it at a place that's like a few hours away :p At least I get it, I'm definitely not spending $200 dollars on a book!

These are pics of the fabric I got in the mail. It's Raw Silk Noil, and as you can see it's not shiny or smooth at all. You can also see in the close ups that it actually has a very knobby texture to it. The blue I got is called "Ink", and the other is much less original....grey! :lol

Not easy to find Thai Silk in the right colors in sweden.. Pjuwh.

It is an interesting theory SoulInertia. It certainly explains why the narrations in the beginning of the movie were done by Sweet Pea. When the two first see each other they seemed to connect in some level.
When sweet pea is in the lobotomy chair though, she doesn't mention babydoll at all. Remember at that part in the fantasy she hasn't met baby doll. She was asking and ranting about how in the world could a lobotomy be sexy?
I like your idea at the end of the bus scene though, with the wise man and all. It does make some sense that baby doll's enlightenment includes sweet peas escape and returning home.

Also, are we sure that Babydoll killed her sister? I thought that she just aimed high and missed, thus shooting the light bulb; and that she was just too late to help her. They only showed that one shot. I always figured that the step dad framed baby doll for her sisters death.
