Does anyone have a reference picture for the Wiseman costume? Incredibly hard to find. It would be much appreciated

He shows up in quite a few outfits: there's one with him showing Babydoll the sword. He is in asian-inspired robes. Then there's an outfit when they are fighting the Nazi-Zombie-soldiers. Then one when he is instructing them about the train and the bomb. There's probably more, like when he says, "..one more thing....Don't wake the Mother." I don't remember what he is wearing at that time. Which one are you after?

I know it's been asked already, but has anyone found the correct shoes for BD yet? Cereza's look good in the full body pics she posted earlier. What kind/brand do you have Cereza?

I don't really think they EXIST. They seem to be pretty custom-made. I used the highest heels in dark brown that I could find with that " schoolgirl" style . I had two days to the con and I was with no shoes at all. So I bought the ones you see in the photo that are some kind of short boots with laces. The heel is THE SAME, if only it was a t-strap shoe, it would have been perfect.
I'm trying now to look for some t strap dark brown shoes and custom them a little. If not, I'm going to call a shoe-maker and made him do them x_x

Alright. Little Bear, WHY are you on BabyDoll's gun with the other charms? HUH? I get the rabbit. Her sister had a bunny and also that same bunny thing was turned into a Meca. On the bunny's belly are two cherries, representing the innocence of BD and her sister. I get the hourglass: She has five days to get the 5 key elements before she gets her lobotomy. Time is running out. I get the skull...it's on Ambers plane (I think!) and I see why it has a bow on it...It's a girl Skull! Relevance to death, nazi-zombies, and of course, the lobotomy going through her skull, as shown on the sword. I even get the Baby Bottle. well....BabyDoll...Baby bottle. Duh.

But I don't get you, little brown bear. WHY are you on there, little Bear?!! And why is there a scar on top of your head? Did someone practice a lobotomy on you? That ice-pick (gross!) goes through the eye, not the head...and why do you have one green button eye, and one blue button eye? Will your purpose be revealed in the extended R-rated movie everyone is talking about? Are you someone's stuffy? Blondie's? Rocket's? Amber's? Perhaps the icky StepFather's or Blue's secret little buddy!!!!! Aarrggghh!

I'm gonna buy you with those charms even though I don't know why you are there!!!!

Aahahahahaha don't get crazy ! Blue's stuffy I'm dieing, lol. Imagine him with the bear while sleeping. Too funny.
I dunno, but those buttons reminds me of Coraline, must mean something like not seeing the reality, or " close your eyes ", but no idea about the scar over the buttons. I must mean something. In the book says nothing :/

Those would be great if they weren't almost $200! It always seems like shoes are the hardest and most expensive part to get right with costumes. I just need to start picking barefoot characters from now on!:lol

Here's a cheaper alternative, though it does have some extra details that you might be able to remove. It only comes in brown, but it's real leather, so it wouldn't be hard to strip them and dye the appropiate parts black.

The more I look at the exspensive pair though, the more it looks like if you lowered the top of the T section and dyed them they'd be almost perfect.

Yes, omg the prices are going mad. I do love my shoes anyway, i don't know, they are not the same model. But the style is similar and they look nice <3

lol! When BD was wearing that sparkly outfit at the end of the movie, I don't think she was going for his tooth!! In the theater, Half the women - and ALL the men - groaned when that scene came up!

They are the same cut/style but I believe they were sparkly blue.

They are the same shoe style but with shinny stuff, you know. They try to keep the same costume style.

Hey Soulinertia I couldnt help but notice that these charms are slightly different from the ones on the etsy page. is the oiiseau5's shopyours? If it is which set would i get if i ordered these? And am i crazy for thinking i am seeing different pics of the teddy bear? One with a green button for an eye and one with what looks like a green "X" band aide for an eye.

Hey Ms Blondie ~ Here's what you might do: Go to Joann Fabrics or some craft/fabric store in your area. They have faux-leather trim with square and round metal brads that you can buy to make your own belts. It's not leather and I have only seen black, but you can paint it dark brown and age it to make it look more authentic. Then, buy the buckles and glue those suckers together with "Mend It" Which is a leather glue. Or here's what I usually do: go to the thrift shops and look in men's belts..I found one for $3 - real leather, the right color, with antique brass square and round metal accents. Blondie's metal is a kind of old silver, pewtery-looking color of metal - but I'm not worried! I have Silver Rub-n-buff and I can get my brush and thinly smear it on the brads and it looks awesome. Get thin belts and cut 'em up for the shoulder harness-thing. Use an awl to make holes and attach leather brads to the main belts, get extra buckle pieces and hook those up. Long leather fringes can cost a fortune. I have seen coats, skirts and pants in leather smooth and suede - real and fake - at those same thrift shops. Buy them and cut 'em up into strips!!! Attach with leather glue!!

I drew some stuff to map out her leather gear (musta weighed a ton, to wear!) I left out the hatchet holster and the gun holster, til later. I'll share my sketches with you....p.s. that first photo is from the book, and it shows the wide leather-metal-studded has slid over to the back side of her waist, but it really goes in front. It prob shifted back during her acting scenes...

You're welcome Ms Blondie - Sometimes, I get all hyper about screen accuracy, and sometimes....um. I just do something else that's close enough!

Hey, Natkins, I went and looked at the Etsy charms you mentioned and well...I appreciate her art, but I just don't think they are close enough to screen-accurate. For example, her bunny has some red stuff on it's belly, but in the artbook, and other reference shots, it clearly shows two red cherries and red stems and red leaf. (the red cherries represent BD and her sister...their innocence) Her babybottle nipple is short and white, and the skull has it's bow standing up. Also, the charms in the book are very shiny and durable looking, and hers are dull - liked baked polymer clay without a protective coating. Those things are going to be dinging around a gun - better be able to take a beating. ....BUT. They probably are cheaper. It just depends on whatever you are hyper about.

I am making that silver round "brand" on Babydoll's gun. I realized a few days ago that it was another one of those tricky little things you don't catch at first. The brand has those cherries again, and seems to be embedded in the wood of the pistol grip. If I get a gun (can't afford a real one) then I probably will dremmel out a space to embed the emblem. I think it would look stupid glued on top. I will leaf it in silver composition metal tonight, and take pics again later.

Also, Natkins, you can see the book in the background - actual pics of the charms. So you can compare Soul's to Ms. Etsy, before you buy!
