I'm going to work my magic on the pic and pop the decals and details on in photoshop it will just be superimposed for now I'll be printing them on later. What do you guys think?

yo dudes!!! Chicago Comic Con was BADASS!!! I remember seeing the sparkly babydoll there too! I freaked :D haha
I was with a mini group. It was me - Babydoll - my boyfriend - German Soldier - and his sister - Rocket. The crowd's reaction was incredible! We literally took 2 steps into the con and were swarmed with photographers :p It was the best weekend ever!! Here are some pics dudes:

we all made our outfits, and we had to fix them little by little every night but it was so worth it :) Thank you epilepticsquirl for the decals! A stand selling swords was amazed with the detail of your decal. I still have a ways to go with the costume, like the sheath :p but I was pleased overall with what I ended up with, since it is my first cosplay :p
thank you so much everyone for posting ideas, tips, being there to answer any questions! you made my summer worth it ;)

I am nearly done with my gun charms - just have to apply a clear coat (which I should have done before gluing the posts in, but I need to get a better glue and redo that, anyway so no harm done). I had a lot of trouble with the bunny because I don't have the art book, so I had pretty limited references. I will probably end up redoing (or at least repainting) the hourglass because the tan and blue are switched. All in all I am really happy with them, though.

Also, Paul, that gun looks awesome!

All looking great you should work on your trigger discipline a bit though unless you really were going to shoot your boyfriend. :lol

Great job with the Rocket too looks the part. I'm no stranger to pulling the crowds when I walk on in Alfie or Paulo the whole place goes mental, I think I clocked 200 photo's in half hour at London Film and Comiccon :confused

For all those Babydolls out there including me kind of :lol I'm working on a tutorial to make your standard airsoft grips into Baby Doll or Diamond grips.


1:Take the grip and draw out the diamonds with a pencil (white works best)
2:cut them out with a sharp knife (I used a scalpel).
3:make a duplicate of the whole grip in either wood plastic or in my case rubber.
4:glue it to the back

Alternatively you can just glue a piece of rubber in the shape over the top of the cut line for the more raised look.

Result would be a 3d cutout with a flawless diamond edge and backing.

Then paint and varnish. As far as the woodgrain or marble effect I'm working on that. :confused

This is only a test at the moment so I will post my results before I paint them to show you the finish.

Mine was a bit touch and go it looks awesome but I got some fingerprints on it. Beauty of these is you can strip em' and paint again :lol

hey guys, anyone who could provide some nice shots of Rocket`s burlesque outfit? I`ve been tempted into it by Marc and his shiny tights (LOL that doesnt sound right :p)
 
and the world was more beautiful than I`d dreamed, and also, more dangerous than I`d imagined...


i THINK it was something like that, havent seen it in a while T.T


but the one thing I can say (and with this we can stop the off-topic) WE`RE ALWAYS ON THE SAME TEAM :D
