Made them myself! :cool
She bought the thigh highs, then I painstakingly hand-glued on
literally 3,000 5mm rhinestones on the webbing of the fishnet.
Took prolly about 48 hours total time to do both legs.
But it was SOOOOO worth it!! We got a HUGE reaction out of them
at the Chicago Comic Con this last weekend :)

Wow total dedication! but so worth it when it gets a awesome reaction! im totally blown away! you should stick some on etsy! you'd make a fortune haha! :)

i definitely want to try and make this outfit some time! :)

Looks great. I'm glad she is not carrying the gun or sword because that's playing with two realities. End Game was the Brothel and technically the asylum from what we hear of how she did all the things in the real world at the end. I love how much this film makes you think :wacko

Paul,

You might be on your own with the Wise Man. I had to jump on an opportunity for a WW1 uniform that I have been wanting (German Uhlan), but it blew my meagre budget. Re-enacting vs. costuming...sometimes they work together, sometimes they work at odds.

But, anything could happen over the next year.

Wow. Im sorry I didn't get to take a picture but I'm pretty sure a girl friend of mine at the sg booth did.

I'll tell her you said so, but don't get too attached...she changes it every few days. Just about all our bath towels have bleach and dye spots all over them.

Parks

hahah been there myself, purple, pink, fuchsia, blue, green, blonde, dark horizontal stripes, even pink dots, you name it, I had it :p

this is painful for my eyes, i was planning on maybe doing the dance version for Rocket and considering all the girls have either thights or gloves with rhinestones, it`s cool to know it can actually be done, the question is, did the glue hold on well to the gems and if the stockings lived after the con LOL.
I have had some recyclable cosplays in the past and would not like to live that again u.u trust me, 7 months of work into a suit that`s broken even before you get to premiere it is not nice at all :(

oh you guys! you're making me wanna make a sparkly babydoll! i have a few cosplays lined up first but i guess if i had a sucker punch brothel/dance group i would do it asap :D

Yeah, I we saw you twice. I was the TRON Legacy guy with her.

Well done, indeed! I'll bet you don't throw THOSE in the washing machine....

The stockings are in perfect shape, and not a SINGLE ONE came off!!!
It's very do-able, don't know why it hasn't been done yet. I've never
made a costume before doing her's, or mine. You just need a LOT
of patience, and a few thousand tiny rhinestones.
I know what you mean..I worked on my TRON Legacy for 7 months,
then it totally failed at the con, but I was able to fix it in our hotel
and wear for a whole day...believe me, I was so mad/sad/frustrated

Been there. Worked for months on my Sucker Punch German soldier zombie, only to have the gas mask straps fail on me (intense sweat dissolved the 1942-era stitching) after maybe a half day of wear. But at least I got some good photos....:lol

Aw man, sorry to hear that :/ I wanted to make maybe Quorra`s one day but it`s never gonna happen now (personal issues..) but still, i get it. It happened to me with Bayonetta, me and Cereza (who cosplayed Babydoll, her pics are further behind if you wanna see her, and who I`m talking into doing Burlesque Bdoll) had worked our asses off with the guns and had little wooden boxes on our shoes to stuck the guns there (in case you dont know Bayonetta, she has guns on her feet LOL) and then one dude stepped on one of mine and broke it :DDDDDD so we couldnt wear them on stage u.u it SUCKED cause it was a huge drawback on the whole thing, but oh well.. plus, my costume had been breaking on the armpits and other places where the fabric could brush against itself (it was crappy fabric indeed...) so there ya go :( we managed to win first place though, which was an awesome thing given we were never gonna use them again and we`d spent a mountain of money on those outfits LOL.

So anyway, back to business, it`s probably never been done due to A) being extremely tiresome, or B)maybe people thought glueing rhinestones wasnt gonna go well :p but i guess I`ll give it a try n.n thanks :)
