The gun i found is of course not real, but it is still made of real metal. I dont know much about nickel, but is it possible to nickelize it and then engrave? or is it not thick enough? i once engraved a zippo lighter cant it be done in the same way but with a gun?
still not having any luck with the charms, anybody having any luck digging them up?
To people that have the Art book, does it have any good shots of the Nazi guys? I'm going back and forth on which one I want to do, the guy with the cool mask or the standard soldier. I took a bunch of pictures at SDCC of the masked guy. I just want to know if I should order the book or not.

Hey everyone!
New to the forums...well as a poster instead of an avid follower. I am working on SweetPea for Comic Con and wanted to see what everyone else was up to.
So far I have the corset underway, have found gloves and the boots. (boots in picture) and made the thigh holster for the shells. The boots don't come up quite as high as I wanted to I am working on modifying them with a leather addition.
If you look at her thighs, the garter she wears looks like more a shirtstay like they wear in the military or on men's socks. Hunting for the right ones now. I am going to be stitching loops on the inside of the waist part of the corset to hook them to (So I don't pull my own undies off when running around!)
Here is my pauldron before it was all done. It is actually steel.
Will take finished pictures, it looks a little more battle scarred and weathered.
I also have found a couple of swords that would work with some minor mods, but I think I might just cast/mold my own for weight. Well, and for something that doesn't cost about $200!
Next up the harness. Anyone tackled that yet?
