I got the parts from JJ, and did some cleanup, just to make the molding process go better. Then I gave them a few coats of auto paint, to seal them.
Starting on the molds today. I'm aiming to have them finished by the end of next week.

I might be interested in the deluxe kit depending on the price. I already have some of the items (leather, snaps and weather supplies).
I used Secret Weapons Pigments and Secret Weapon Fixer to do the rust weathering on the clips for my Rey googles which turned out well (I also paint Warmachine figures so I have them onhand). They have a huge range of colors if someone wants more depth of color to their dirt or dust. The clips were a shiny new toggle bolt when I started.

I'd definitely be interested in the extra parts. As others have said, we need to get them anyways. I hope you go easy price wise on the guys in the first run who missed the option of getting a whole kit.

No worries, you will be able to pay anytime to "upgrade" to a deluxe kit. We are sourcing the fuller's earth, sling and buckles as we speak.

I've heard that Fuller Earth gets stopped at the border, may want to look into it.

Wow, interesting. I can try to list it as "powdered clay" (which it really is) or just "modeling dirt" or something. I'd prefer to send one out as a test before risking them all getting refused in Customs. Do you want to be our guinea pig? Lol.

Things might be different now but I had tried to find some locally a few years ago to weather my Jack Sparrow costume but couldn't get it so I ordered some online and was told it was not allowed to be shipped into Canada. A local theatre costume company told me the same thing.

I just had a look for fuller earth on eBay here in Australia and you can buy them locally so I will pass on the fuller earth in your kit just to be safe.
