You need to read between the lines. Tinker said "yes to power laces in 2015", not yes to the MAG. What came out last year? One pair of MAGs with a Power Lace system, then the announcement of the EARL. It was said back in 2011 that there would be no more MAGs. Only MAGs you will get now are reps.
Sounds like you are on track. Did the code give you a discount?

Took off $29.04 for a total of $454.96.
It it doesn't look like I'll be paying right now because my wok computer doesn't like Wester Unions webpage. It either keeps reloading or when it isn't not every thing loads. Guess I'll wait until I get home and try then.

I haven't and probably won't. Personally, I will never have the lights on during the daytime, so I am somewhat OK with the brightness. I would rather just have the LED's less bright.
Don't worry, if you contacted them then they'll come through with pics. I found the best way to communicate with them was with their live chat feature in the evenings. If you're in Kentucky, then I would say around 8ish or 9ish pm is the best time.
Just tell them your order number and they'll make a note.

That wasn't my experience. I ordered and then asked for photos via chat and they told me they'd already shipped the shoes and that it was impossible.

Nah they keep trying to sign me up for an account at my local WU dealer and I keep telling them no I don't need the spam and don't want a loan (thats where they make their money) and I've sent with them a bunch of times and never had a problem. I know Cavx said go to the post office but I only got a form for $AU and I'd already organised to pay in $US. So I just keep going down to the WU dealer, since that always worked for me before. Maybe if I'd specified $AU on my order the Post office would have been fine.
Usually the process is : Make order, pay WU, send them the MTCN number by email (which is where I requested QC pics on my second pair as I forgot to put it on the original order too) then they send you payment confirmation and QC pics, then in a couple of days they send the order. My second order got to me in around a week. (first order held up by shipping problems but eventually arrived)
If you mention QC pics on the email that gives them the info they need to get the money, they can't help but read it, right?
I got my second pair QC pics after I asked that way. (here's one of them)

Yea I think I am with you on that, especially since Its not going to be as easy as just adding an inverter. If it requires changing all the panels (which it seems to) I'll probably leave it at that too. It really doesn't appear to be a big difference in brightness either...now those LEDS yea those are way too bright.
Having never seen the RD in person kind of tricky to know what needs to be done to make the bubble accurate. Going off pictures...it looks like the original 2011 bubble is actually frosted as well. I think the thing that will make these V3 bubbles look like the RD...dimming them and maybe even moving the LEDS closer against the plastic. (You probably already saw for yourself) but yea they sit like 1-3mm away from the plastic.
I think I am getting close to the brightness right though (all of the leds on the END are the original brightness, so far I have only got the top 3 green dimmed right) Also that's one of the bubbles I cast, it came out way too clear. Will end up sanding with 1000 grit to frost it a little, or adding a very small amount of white pigment to make it look frosted. The picture below is the RD one I am going off of...it actually looks pretty darn frosted to me...yet you can still clearly see the LEDS I guess because they are closer to the plastic

People are still experiencing problems with the EL even after David apparently "fixed" the issue with the new batch?
So this tape has been on this battery a while to tape down leads from breaking off. It's the only lipo have had that has puffed up. Looks like that causes issues in my opinion. I don't think there were other factors involved but I may be wrong. Just a guess. You make the call. It's full of air ready to pop.
