Do any of you hoodlums have a quick (or reasonably quick) solution for swapping the strap to eliminate the bump from the wires? I saw the tutorials about the HC, would it simply be an issue of cutting the wires, opening the strap, replacing with dollhouse wires, and then reconnecting them?

I haven't and probably won't. Personally, I will never have the lights on during the daytime, so I am somewhat OK with the brightness. I would rather just have the LED's less bright.

I agree. I would be happy with the ELs brightness, but the fact that the front keeps breaking is the reason I'm not buying a pair. I can't be arsed spending that much, then having to spend days/hours/weeks repairing them. If people like us can make V2s electronics perfectly reliable... All it takes is to ensure there are nice gaps around the EL panels, slack on the wiring to the LEDs, and lots of hot glue ;-)

Thanks, I'm just a little concerned with the crooked strap on the right shoe and I'm not sure if the color difference on the fabric is due to lighting or visible in person.
