Nike MAG replicas (V2 and V3 only)

are they blueish aqua or an actual Cyan type colour?

The 1989 shoe used a cyan almost greenish colour, which is the exact colour of my DIY panels.
Not sure if the 2011 shoe used an exact cyan like 1989.

Are you guys really getting 4 days run time? Heck I am not even getting anywhere near 12 hours with mine. :unsure

nobody's getting 4 days. Its just standard horsecrap talk from the fake sellers trying to sweet talk everyone into thinking they are perfect and long lasting lighting times.

Just a heads up guys. I took the insoles out of my UK6 / US7 to measure them as I still think they felt a tad on the large side. Even though the label says US7 / 25cm, the insole length is actually 26cm exactly which is a US8.

Perhaps it's because it was an early US7 order, maybe the first one, I don't know, but I get the feeling they may have put the '7' label on them to get them out of the door as a few folk feared, if not, they do run slightly oversize in this particular size. Either way, they do fit me well & I intend to wear them, but if size is of the upmost importance to you, I would measure against the stared size just to be sure they are correct.

I have another pair of '7' on the way but I'm waiting for them to be made as I didn't like the photos of the pair they sent me, so I shall compare against these & let you all know.

Anyone else who has ordered a US 7 or US 8 owners. I would be interested to know your actual insole size if you'd care to post it on here.

I have to say at this point the GIANT RIBBING is what concerns me the most. Yes, I know that capital letters are like screaming. That's what the ribbing is doing to me. Was the V2 fabric that bad that this is an improvement? If David were to source a finer weave fabric and overdrive that EL a bit, these would be so full of win that my money would fly its own way out of my pocket and into David's wallet. As is, it's hunkering down watching with curiosity, as am I.

YESSSS!!!!!! Thank you.

I personally don't think its as bad in person. Some of these pictures people are posting, I think the texture is creating somewhat of a Moiré effect making it look worse in the photos than in person. In my opinion this photo does the best job representing what the fabric really looks like in person:

True, I can see what you mean about the fabric looking better there, but WOW, what a great illustration of how disappointingly dim the EL is.

Thank you Brad! It's been a while I was waiting for a decent good looking pair, and in my size on top of this! Now let's hope it will work out!And yeah Fabri has been really helpful! Either way, I wouldn't be mad at him if he says no after all as its a good amount of money xD I just hope mine will be near perfect too, would be great! Amyway, might get mine around September/October anyway as I don't want Fabri to ship it before I fully refund him ^^!

@cavx, are you able to produce accurate ankle bubbles?

My original parts were re-worked off the vacuum formed parts I did back in 2012.

Once I molded and cast these, I made several sets which have all been used or sold. The parts were nice, but a touch too round, so I reworked them again.

This is my latest version. I have not really cast any parts yet. The original part is on the right. The dimples in the new part look overly pronounced, because of shadows.

So what I did was to place half of the original mold into the mold box (butter box in the picture), flood it with D65 plastic and then resculpt. I then trimmed a bit off the bulge and added the dimples to look closer to the screen used shoe buckles.

After I was happy with the new master part, I placed it back into the butter box and fill the container with silicon. I repeated the steps until I had 2 x the 2 part molds.
The first test I did used the same A65 rubber I use for the soles and the strap tabs seemed too weak. It might be possible to pour the body in A65 and then reinforce the tabs with A100.

The buckles currently on my shoes are all A100 and whist they don't flex, add real support to the back of the leg and are very comfortable.

So the question I have right now for this rejected this pair is - Do they just sold off to someone less fussy or are they marked as B stock?
