Nike MAG replicas (V2 and V3 only)

If I were to mod these it would be the ankle bubble and the EL if a fix to make them brighter comes out.

I understand that, but without first hand knowledge of the color of the jeans it's still a total crap shoot. Plus lighting can alter how something looks as well. It just seemed like a weird request. lol

You can't really use a flash because it wash out the EL. Do you have a "cool" white light? The newer D6500K LEDs are awesome for this as they are "daylight" and allow you to capture true colours with a camera.

Ok so here are my shoes.

The box came with some dents on the corners, but the rest of it looks decent.

The shoes themselves feel great to hold. Very light, but sturdy. All the materials feel like nice quality. The soles are spongy. Mine unfortunately have defects on the Nike swooshes. There's imprints of where they messed up or something putting them on.

And some pink stuff on the collar on the right shoe.

But my biggest gripe is the charging port holes. They are very small and you have to mess with the cable a lot to get them plugged in.

Overall though I absolutely love these shoes. These will be strictly for display, so the defects aren't too noticeable.

Unfortunately, no. That's just a silly request. I'm not even sure what the point of asking for a picture of that is.
As cavx said, it is because of the movie ;)
and for the knees... That's just because every on feet picture that i can find is framed only on the shoes. And i'd like to see how the shoe looks in casual wearing condition. (This is not some kind of perv / fetish thing... Just want too see a real wearing picture ^^ )

thanks @cavx for the response on that ;)
have you create the thread about the other Mag Project ?
@MitasTouch : how does the shoe feel ? Does the material feel hard like a boot or is it soft ? I mean do you feel like this is something that can be foldable or is there a rigid body into the fabric that holds the shape ?

It's soft and maluable. I have my bets in that the steam method would work if anyone want to slim the toe a little.

I have to say at this point the GIANT RIBBING is what concerns me the most. Yes, I know that capital letters are like screaming. That's what the ribbing is doing to me. Was the V2 fabric that bad that this is an improvement? If David were to source a finer weave fabric and overdrive that EL a bit, these would be so full of win that my money would fly its own way out of my pocket and into David's wallet. As is, it's hunkering down watching with curiosity, as am I.

I personally don't think its as bad in person. Some of these pictures people are posting, I think the texture is creating somewhat of a Moiré effect making it look worse in the photos than in person. In my opinion this photo does the best job representing what the fabric really looks like in person:

Has anyone asked David about the dim ELs? I'm guessing it wouldn't be really hard to fix. I know most people would rather have like 12 hours of bright ELs instead of "4 days" of dim ones.

Are you guys really getting 4 days run time? Heck I am not even getting anywhere near 12 hours with mine. :unsure
