That looks amazing but do you know how durable it would be?here's one.

the fabric hasn't been fully stretched and stitched yet, and ive just temporarily put on v1 knockoff tongue in there, and the heel cup with sellotape to see how it looks.
Just working on the White puffy sections now, but overall, its looking far superior to the totally innacurate standard v2.
To be honest, since I now know how to make these from scratch, the only things I would really need to make a shoe would be the grey midsoles, clear soles and heel cup with ankle buckle.
The ankle buckle and heel cup i can probably make and cast in rubber. The grey midsole also can be modified and cast.
The only difficult bit is redoing the clear soles, and extending that part and getting a suitable clear casting liquid.

Do you have a price in mind to only make the uppers? As durable, if not more durable than the v2 uppers.
Unless you plan to breakdance and run marathons in them, they will last a very long time!
the v2 uppers aren't exactly state of the art anyway!
They are just cheap fabric, with excessive bad stitching and totally wrong shape.
The V2 as they come, and no matter how much you do to modify them, they will still have the "mark poon" look to them. They lean too forward, and the shape is totally off.
hi yes,
i've done the exact seams as on the movie/2011 release.
One seam at the back and another between the second and third laces.
Will post some more pictures when finished.
How hard is it to really make the new uppers yours look perfecthere's one.

Is there anyway you could make the uppers for me and i could buy them from you?Well its not that hard but does require a little patience to be completed. Its only a 2 part template, joined at the back seam and side seam just like the real ones.
I would say its almost identical to the way the movie versions were done.
I will do some comparison pictures. I have some hilarious pictures of the standard V2 shoes from several angles, and they are so off in accuracy, its frankly laughable.
From certain angles, yes, the standard v2 is cunningly deceptive, but when you see it straight from the side or angled view, you can clearly see the shoes are "too forward", as in they lean forward, and the back part of the shoes are awful, especially the way the ankle buckle droops more forward than the heel cup when they are on your feet.
Thats why they still have the "mark poon" feel and look to them, which you cannot escape other than their complete removal!
I thought i should share some progress pics of my pro to type right custom clear sole with outer rigg ..
