ok so theirs a lot of talks about price points as of late.

Now i didn't want to say anything till i received them but i also have ordered a pair. Not from David. Total amount i have paid is $381.60 for them and i just received the tracking number yesterday. I will not mention the site until they arrive regardless of being the v3 or getting scammed. Taking a bloody risk here lol. Just don't want anyone else to make a mistake if they turn out to be some sort of V2.

However i will keep everyone posted.

So far the differences in service i noticed is that davids team are willing to send photo's before sending the shoes out. where as the guys i bought from kept saying they will but never did. Blind faith right here lol.

Ok so i promised i would update everyone so here it goes.

The site i used was shoesgooddeal.ru . after purchasing them i noticed they increased the price which made me feel rather uneasy. anyways so yesterday i recieved the package. open the box to find it has the magnet opening which was all good.

it goes all downhill from here tho lol.
open the box to find a pair of V2's with a remote control. you are able to change the lights and make them flash and all sorts. one thing i did like is the ankle strap was correct. however the rest of the shoe was not. it was not what i paid for.

so i contracted the guy at shoesgooddeal whos name is Jeremy Huang. ( this is him reviewing the air mag v3 on youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v-2J-LWgJZM )

last thing he said to be is that he would get back to me today regarding why i had been sent the wrong shoes. i am still waiting for a reply. messaged him a million times on WECHAT and emails.

this is where i started to think ok for sure this was planned and they have done this previously to others.

all i can say is please stay away from this site and any other site that is not from david. i took a risk for a better deal but got a better deal at getting f.u.c.k.e.d lol. unfortunately david's price point is rather high for some of us but trust me at least he's legit.


now i just need to sell these V2's and call it a day.

Its interesting to note that it has the same strap as the V3, or at least the same EL panel, whilst the rest of the stuff is innacurate.

I'm sure you can get your money back for them if you list them. These at least have the working strap and so nothing to mod really for the average person who wants them.

I treated my soles today. It wasn't warm or bright enough for my liking, low 70's, but I can tell a little difference. I also did the heel hopping it may help. It cleared up good for a minute and then fogged back up.

I would have to re-work my molds to be a more accurate shape. It is quite easy to do.

The powders I have (green and cyan) are supposed to be mixed at 5% per volume, but I found that I can push that right up to 33% and get some awesome results that glow as bright as EL (when full charged) for a few minutes, then fade down to lower level, but that level is visible for hours.

I make the strap part as well. When these sets came out of the mold, they were part of a big order, so exposed then to the sun for about 30 secs and then took them into the cinema where I captured this image. They were left on the seat and they were still glowing 16 hours later. 33% per volume mix, plus a small amount of clear blue was added to stop the mix from being yellow. When not charged, they are a pale aqua in colour.

So the idea is to trim them and glue them directly to the inside of the clear parts.

This photo actually shows the true colour of the GITD kits. I've used Paint below to show what CYAN actually looks like.

his is really strange :
They take time to :
- Modify the strap upgrading them to EL
- Change the fabric
- Change the overall shape (looks like these ones are a bit of a slimed toe on this picture)
- upgrade the led with the remote controled lights and colour (but no EL panel or a better colour)
- Upgrading the box (do you have other pics of it ? opened and some angles ? are they like the V3 box ?)
- ADD A CLEAR SOLE that looks crystal clear !

And, they makes two step backward by downgrading the splatter pattern :/
Why taking so much time to make thses AND the V2.1 instead of merging the two of thenm and sell a V2.5 whitout the B.S. lights and S*** ?!!!

I just don't get why they have not turned all their attention to the V3 and offer different versions of that - including a no lights version. Different colour ways etc.
Clearly they are all coming out of the same factories if they are all now using the big box with the magnetic flap.

Still cheaper/quicker to put together a V2. Enough to make it seem like a more viable option to upgrade.

V3 is so popular they are at capacity for that model and can't handle more versions.
