What do you guys suggest about shipping. Should I use the free Epacket, free China Post Registered Air Mail, or the the $26 EMS? Which is trackable and insured, BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY, not going to get stuck in customs?
I mean, if i'm spending $200 on shoes what's another $26. I just want to know which is the best option.
I ended up using the ems. Ordered this afternoon before leaving work.

These look great now. How super hot would they look with a yellow version of the outrigger
I bought translucent Red (made a set for Taff83 a while back), Yellow and Green (I also have blue and black - a very low black tint looks hot BTW). The idea was to mix a little bit of each colour (Red Yellow Green) into 3 small batches of clear and fill the slots on the inside of the LED bubble, then back light that with white EL. I'd probably place a hole punched filter over the EL first to only allow points of light to come through.
Given a study showed EL lasts much longer than LEDs on the same power supply, having an EL version of the LEDs is quite appealing. It also takes the complexity out of having to add resisters etc.
The wiring is simplified as well now because the one wire running done the inside of shoe can provide power to both the soles and bubble instead of needed two - one for LEDs, one for EL.
This screen-used pair of MAGs just received by the "Prop Store" is in really good shape.
Shoes are at 13:50, and the 2015 Hill Valley Police car is just before them. The whole video is interesting though if you have 17 minutes to spare.

I just rode back this and i'm more than considering doing it ! Much more simple than LEDs plus makes me avoiding soldering !:thumbsup

Look at those long tongues! The midsole speckles look really blue, I wonder if its just from age? Others look more green
Thats a screenshot of the video I quoted, not sure what my coloring on my screen is, its on the stock setting of my mobile phone. It might look different on a PC monitor than on my mobile, so it might be my settings
What video? Is there a link?
Thanks. How did I miss that?
I also found another video that shows similar shoes, maybe the same pair, not sure.

Excuse the rough hand cut letters (can't wait to get my revised machined parts), but when I mixed the colour, it looked right at the time, but set quite a bit greener and I always thought it was too green. These images (yes monitors and other varibles come into play for colour matching) look pretty close.
