New model for OWK three holes saber... (New pics on pg 13. 11-17-2024)

Although the Saberz O1 is smaller in scale overall. It does look like in your picture there is a much smaller ID in the AS saltshaker in that area particularly it seems to have a thicker aluminium sheet. I'd have to wait until I receive mine to compare properly but I'd assume the chassis for these hilts would be similar to the Saberz chassis design
I haven't taken calipers to it yet, but I think the ID through the handle section is just under 7/8" (the blade holder is 7/8" and it steps down slightly into the bare aluminum piece in the handle). There's a bit more OD in the thick section above the pommel, but I don't think I'll be able to devise a removable chassis.

Anakin Starkiller With this run completed any chance you would consider a run of emitter cones, buttons, and valves to convert off-brand Kenobi TPM sabers to the SS version? Maybe the cone could have a 7/8” plug and a 1” spacer/sleeve to go over the 7/8” to fit different older removable bladed sabers?
Sorry. I don't think so.
Why not sell your old saber and buy one of my kits, rather than try to covert it?

If it's a label or hez or one of the older kits, it would probably fetch as much as one of my new versions

Purchased mine no joke, the second they went up... yeah, I'm a junky lol just received them today. Considering waiting for Christmas to open them as us adults need to get excited about something on Christmas morning and feel that childhood joy again:D

That is definitely a sharp looking saber and the different options really makes it a standout piece and a valuable addition to any lightsaber collection.

I have an older and inaccurate Kenobi TPM saber that I’ve thought about trying to convert into the SS version just as a visual placeholder. One of these days I’ll solicit someone to lathe/mill just the SS top to attach to my saber and then strip and refinish a knurled button for a ‘close enough’ version for me.
Sounds like a lot of work. I'd just pick up one of Starkiller's

So hard to wait for these things when the box is sitting in your clutches

It’s an old Parks saber I bought probably 20 years ago from Jeff directly. It’s so old it has a plug-in EL blade because LED blades were not even a thing back then. It’s so old it had a black push-button switch on the back side right in the middle of the grip that I removed and covered with a chrome plug. I doubt I’d get much for it.

I’ve been collecting lightsaber replicas for almost 25 years and for the most part I only own 1 copy of each specific saber version/variant. I’m not super-strict on accuracy, for example the only Luke ROTJ V2 I own is the Master Replicas version. I’ve passed on every single newer and more accurate version because for me and my collection it’s good enough, close enough, accurate enough, and I’m fine with it- especially because I already spent the money on it. Over the years I did make very inexpensive accuracy upgrades, such as upgrading the cone knob, replacing the screw with a replica boot stud, replaced the circuit card with a slothfurnace, replaced the lever with a wannawanga, and reworked the weathering, and I did those upgrades over a period of years.

I enjoyed the journey of upgrading the parts and the actual saber body and exact dimensions being less than 100% accurate doesn’t bother me. My V2 looks just fine to me in my collection, although I know it would probably be the laughingstock of the RPF.

Since I already have the Parks TPM, and it’s accurate enough for me, I gotta think the cone emitter and new buttons would be less money than buying a whole new lightsaber. Even if you add what I paid for the Parks when I bought it new to the price of the new parts and the total was about what the new AS SS costs I’ve already spent the money on the saber 20 years ago so today the parts upgrade would cost much less than buying a new replica saber- plus I’d still have the Parks with little hope of getting much money for it. I’d rather use what I’ve got and make the most of the money I’ve already spent.

I don’t have a photo of the saber handy but I’ll add some later if I remember.

Out for delivery. Won’t have time to work on it, today, but I should, soon. I plan on adding a small groove to seat the o-ring in, since that’s what the originals appear to have (and it also slightly reduces stress on the ring), which is what I did with the TPM version.

Probably your best bet would be to ask people who bought this kit to build the AOTC variant if they're interested in selling the extra parts

Something just decided to just appear in my Mail Box… Can’t wait to put these together

Man I’m getting jealous. Mines been sitting in Indiana USPS supposedly “moving to next facility” for 3 days.

Normally I receive it within a couple days but this time usps is taking over a week. Idk what the issue is.
