New model for OWK three holes saber... (New pics on pg 13. 11-17-2024)

What size
Some of the rivets have a much more spherical appearance. Just depends on their specific application. The rivets on the right are the ones included in the TPM Hero run, the rivet on the left is a spherical headed rivet.

What size of rivets are needed? I have a bunch i got from the UK on the Clan series 1 run i did.

If and when rivets become handy, I'm thinking of giving the AOTC saber's aluminum body a polish, then maybe removing most of the violet from the rivet to simulate the natural weathering that the prop's rivet apparently has in the publicity photos.

Of course, it's still ambiguous as to whether or not the TPM and AOTC sabers are supposed to be the same, in-universe. The official stance is that the AOTC is an identical duplicate (...and one of the early, post-TPM novels had Obi-Wan using Qui-Gon's saber, as the end of the TPM novelization had established).

But then there's that pickup scene at the end of TPM, with the Jedi Council arriving on Naboo, and the usual Kenobi saber hanging on Ewan's belt, which indicates it was retrieved from the pit. Or maybe it was just a continuity error.

If not, that would make Kenobi's TPM saber the only one ever retrieved from one of those bottomless shafts. Because I've never, ever heard of such a thing happening in the history of the franchise. At least not in the six (and only six) STAR WARS films we've had.

Anyway, I kinda almost wish the salt shaker had been made for AOTC, which would show that Kenobi had built a NEAR-identical duplicate to replace the one he lost (...or maybe didn't lose) on Naboo.

For those installing, this is going to be tricky:
Although the Saberz O1 is smaller in scale overall. It does look like in your picture there is a much smaller ID in the AS saltshaker in that area particularly it seems to have a thicker aluminium sheet. I'd have to wait until I receive mine to compare properly but I'd assume the chassis for these hilts would be similar to the Saberz chassis design

Wow that's pretty small

Anakin Starkiller With this run completed any chance you would consider a run of emitter cones, buttons, and valves to convert off-brand Kenobi TPM sabers to the SS version? Maybe the cone could have a 7/8” plug and a 1” spacer/sleeve to go over the 7/8” to fit different older removable bladed sabers?
