So, just to clarify—we’re still thinking that the AOTC belt-hanger was actually the refurbished TPM hero, and so this kit just includes AOTC parts merely for the sake of having options (rather than actually representing an accurate AOTC prop), right?

I’m under the impression the ep1 metal hero went missing and the salt shaker was originally made as a ep2 replacement, since It was remade it wasn’t exactly the same (but meant to be the same in universe)
Then the revenge of the sith salt shaker was “re dressed” with different bezel, button and emitter and used as a “upgraded” in universe saber for Obi wan

Really excited to hopefully get 2 even 1 of these kits as they are absolutely gorgeous I remember earlier in the thread Dan mentioned doing a MR AOTC Emitter cap for fun (with the gold/brass bit) but was that plan scratched? And If I'm correct by counting every one in the photo on Dan's Floor is there only 59 or so for this run?
I don’t know, starkiller sent mine early and he didn’t have all the parts ready when he sent it, so my kit is missing a few things
I have a (finishing tutorial) video coming out Wednesday of the assembly, my patrons got to see the debut last night

Is an insert included for the brass valve if making the AOTC version? The red led would be for ROTS version.
No. If you go that way and want it purple, I'd suggest painting the led

In studying the available images, I'm starting to see the subtle differences between the TPM and the salt shaker. For example, the shape of the aluminum body's center grip cutout.
And I'm still seeing the AOTC metal hero as looking closer to the TPM than the ROTS, but it's tricky to tell for sure. Hmmm.
