I'm Ian, I go by Sentinel Force. I'm a Pepakura addict lol and model almost anything. I enjoy the builds here on the RPF. Currently I'm working on mulitple projects.
1st a Mando Helmet
2nd Halo 4 MC Helmet
3rd Halo 4 Warrior Spartan Helmet
4th Halo 4 Commando Spartan Helmet
5th Iron Man mk8 Helmet

Yes I know its alot but while one is drying, I work on another lol
I appreciate everyones efforts in their work and glad that they share it here.

Hello this is my first time having a forum to talk about my creations. I myself love to make my own costumes. I have made a very historically accurate Aztec Emperor costume, Predator costume, and Ancient Greek costume. But this time I have got a real ambitious project now. I am working on a full blown Space Jockey (Prometheus) bio-suit. I am still trying to get ton of clay to sculpt the parts before I vacuum form them. Someone I know is making the head/helmet for me.:lol

Hi, I'm Michael from the UK. Found this forum looking for advice on how to build props and costumes. I have never done any construction before but defiantly want to learn. Will be doing a basic Dressmaking course which starts in a couple of weeks, hopefully that will give me a foundation to build upon my skills.

The main thing I am interested in in Star Trek, I have a few Uniforms although I havn't made any of them myself. These are Nemesis Security, Nemesis Dress Whites. TNG Male Skant and a TNG era Romulan. I would love to expand on my Alien costumes though I think the biggest challenge for them will be the Head's.

Hello RPF,

My name is Matt but I go by many names hah. The most recent being Porthos and Cubone. This is my first post on the RPF but definitely not the first time. This board is filled with so much information and inspiration to anyone and all levels of creating.

I have been a costume builder for 6+ years now but 5 of them were spent building chainmail, plate and leather armor for medieval reenactment and education at the highschool I went to. When I came to college I began experimenting with pepakura and all those fun methods that go along with it. I began with Halo builds and have build various Halo Helmets over the last 2 years.

I then shifted gears and began to build a Boba Fett costume. That is a constant battle as I keep changing my mind on how picky about details I want to be >.< But I am still currently working on this and my helmet is almost ready to be molded and cast. But this was put on hold as I found a new love.

Dead Pool.

I look forward to sharing ideas with you all and hopefully learning and growing more as an individual and a community!

I am Daniel from Sweden, originally from Wales.

I'm a huge fan of movie props and Paraphernalia, especially the Alien trilogy, I say trilogy because I prefer to deny the existence of Resurrection and everything thereafter bar Prometheus (if that counts as a sequel).

I came across the site while looking for prop building suggestions for a project I intend to start, since I am new to this scene I am sure I can learn a lot from some of you seasoned pros and once I get started on my projects then I can share them with you.

I came across this forum through google when ever I had a problem with a project. I've been building props and costumes for a few years now. I tend to lean more towards the more beaten up and damaged props and outfits.

Well of course I'm new here and I stumbled across this site when trying to learn more about pep and iron man builds from YouTube this will be my first ever build but really excited to get started. Wow, so many lurkers-turned-posters. I am one of them. been checking this site out for a few months, learning some basic skills. This site has been INVALUABLE. Hi Folks! I'm usually over in the "Puppets" thread at the ETF forum, but now I've bought some resin, and have ambitions far grander than my skillset, I thought it was finally time to introduce myself here.

How did I get here? I always fancied the idea of having a Thunderbirds puppet, but after perusing the internets it became apparent I wasn't going to afford one any time soon. Then I stumbled over the aforementioned puppet thread and before I knew it I was making my own version of Parker, which turned out alright.

Of course once you've learned how to make one puppet you have to make two, so then I made Lady Penelope...

...and now I'm currently making Scott (and somewhere for him to sit ).

Then I have it in my head to make a 4 foot tall Martian Fighting Machine. And maybe a Dalek. And a Tardis.

So this is the support group yeah?

I've recently found lots of time on my hands. Unfortunately those hands are totally inexperienced in model building and general crafts.

My dream build would be a Dredd 3D uniform, so I hope the experienced members won't mind me picking their brains and asking dumb questions as a fledgling cos-play / model maker.

I have been into costuming for a couple of years now. Built a Custom Mando / ROTJ SE Fett and have a ANH Stormtrooper. Have really been looking for another project, always throught it would be StarWars related but watched Dredd a couple of weeks ago and have been hooked.

So currently working on gathering together the pieces. :cool
