Hey Guys! Just wanted to say hey from St. Louis!
Over the last year I've been busy learning all kinds of stuff from you guys. I've built a Ghostbusters Proton Pack and a T21 blaster from ANH so far. Having a great time and can't wait to figure out what to do next!

Hello. I have loved costuming for years. In the last couple of years I have expanded beyond my old Ren garb. I am now trying to make more costumes and props for myself. I like the collection I have made so far and look forward to what I can do in the future.

Hello, I am Dalisha and I am new to the site. I'm looking forward to corresponding with you. I found this site while searching for a Spider-Man pattern for my 6 year old nephew.
I found an image of what appeared to be the perfect pattern and when I clicked on the photo it brought me to this site; so here I am. I pray that someone can help me!?

Hello!

I've been a lurker to this forum for years, prop and costume building/collecting is a hobby I've always wanted to really dive into. Finally decided to take the plunge and create an account. Look forward to joining many discussions!

Hey everyone!
I've been reading a couple of costume threads over the past few months, as I'm a bit of a beginner cosplayer looking to move into more complex costumes. I have already gotten a few items together for my next project: Rey's Scavenger outfit.

Hello all! I just joined a couple of days ago. I'm a cosplayer but I've been wanting to add more depth to my work by being able to make my own props and take my work to the next level. I'm here to learn as much as I can. Can't wait to show off my work.

Howdy y'all. I am a cute boy from Los Angeles, California. I like building stuff out of my pep-peps garage. I'm big into gunsmithing and firearms, but I have experience with pepakura armor and special effects makeup in the past. Looking forward starting some new projects (mostly fallout related, I've been a fan since the FO1) and found tpf is an amazing resource.

Hey All - I am just learning and found this awesome place by stumbling via google. I have made a ton of terrain and other gaming stuff and wanted to get into Props. SO here I am.

Hello, I've been lurking for a while. I was a big Star Wars fan from age 7-21. I put together my own Darth Vader costume at 10 years old, had the 2 piece don post helmet and I took apart my lite-brite set to make all the homemade belt and chest boxes light up. As a girl it was tough being Vader, everyone would yell at me when I entered a women's bathroom.

I'm 46 now and a big fan again. I'm building a F-11D Blaster and have a Captain Phasma Armor Kit on order from Shawn Thorsson. I'll might still have a problem entering a women's bathroom, but this time I'll have a big gun and two voice amplifiers on my belt. I'm also putting together a Kylo Ren for my husband so he can boss me around for a change.

Re: >> New Members: Please Introduce Yourselves Here! <<

Hi all Rache here, TD-2441 Sandtrooper, UK Garrison :) building an FO TIE outfit and I'm here to source armour that will fit a skinny bird. Other obsessions are motorsports, photography and sewing/selling fuzzy beds for rats, chinchillas and hamsters. Why have normal interests ;-)

Hello all. Don from DFW Texas, checking in. :D

I've always had an interest in creating things, and wanted create things for movies like a friend of mine, but I took another path that landed me in a cube in a building. I've started to give this a serious go, (well for fun, but actually putting time into things now.) I have several projects I've started, that need to be finished. Main interests are replications and weapons (from EVA). I'd like to actually create a full EVA armor suit at some point, maybe even make it to a con with one. Still learning techniques though. Maybe I can get something completed by Halloween. :)

Hi there! I'm Molly. I love Star Wars and now have two kiddos obsessed with it as well. My previously Vader-loving daughter's sudden infatuation with Rey and BB8 after watching TFA led me here to the epic Rey build thread. I made her costume and BB8 cake for her 4th birthday party using a lot of info from this site. Now my 7-year-old wants to be Chewbacca for Halloween... Wish me luck.

Hi Everyone, Nathan here. I feel as though I've been living under a rock. I built my first ANH Stormtrooper using clay, vacu-form, fiberglassing, and painting, I modified it to resemble Daric Larone (TKR 330). I only recently found out about Worbla, eva foam, and pepakura.

I usually modify stuff to make it steampunk or dia de los muertos, but now, I really want to make My own first order stormtrooper armor and helmet as close to movie accurate as possible, that's why I joined, to show progress, give tips on my failings and triumphs, and get advice from you experts out there, and share in best practices. I'll be using a mixed media for the master: HDPE plastic (melted) clay scultping, fiberglass, bondo, pepakura, eva foam, and worbla where necessary, i don't like sticking with one media. Once the master is built however, I'll be taking a silicone mold of that so I can use just HDPE or some pour-able plastic resin so it's cohesive...and i will be able to easily make a bunch of stormtroopers for my friends.

anyway, once I get enough pics together I'll create a story line of my progress so far.

Goodnight.
I am Jorge ( said in my profile) I'm from Uruguay , a small country in South America , in the middle of Argentina and Brazil. Country of soccer players Diego Forlan, Luis Suarez, Diego Godin, etc. Not speak or write in English , very little. My language is Spanish. One day I would like to make a batsuit with some of their models and help. That was why enter this forum, in addition to being impressed with their projects that are incredible .
Understand something ??? Not really write in English ...

Hey all, brand new to the site, and to costume building. I've recently joined a smaller company as a side job doing kids birthday parties (Batman/spiderman, etc...) but I really want to take it to the next level for the costumes (not the crappy halloween ones I've been using) and I could really use some help. I'm very interested in the Stealth suit with motorized faceplate (but with Iron man cours..) I'm not at all skilled in crafting/sculting/or really anything related to costuming but I learn real quick and I'd really appreciate any help making a custom fitting Iron Man suit. Anyone able to provide help getting this done? Emailing would be great, but if you were local or close to Brantford, Ontario would be amazing.
Thanks in advance.

Sorry if I cross lines or say something against the rules, but this is my first post. Please PM me and I'll gladly correct it.
