Re: *** New Members: Please Introduce Yourselves Here!

I've been on TDH for a short time and a lurker here for years. Just completed my first Fett and really enjoying the hobby. Although I keep stacking too many projects on top of one another and spending too much money on this I'm Glad I caught the registration this time. The RPF is a great resource. I wish I had more to contribute but my talent pales in comparison to what is can be found here.

Re: *** New Members: Please Introduce Yourselves Here!

Hello!

I've known about the RPF for about a year now, but never got around to joining when there was an open registration. I'm almost a two year veteran of the 405th Infantry Division forum, the Halo prop and replica forum, where I learned quite a bit from the members there.

I've been working on models since I was 12, and I've always enjoyed doing it.

Alittle of my past work in here... (BTW, I'm going to add some more detail to my MJOLNIR Mk-VI, so it's not quite up to date)

I am by no means a professional, and I'm always learning new ways to make my work look better.

Re: *** New Members: Please Introduce Yourselves Here!

Jeff Stringer here, from Chattanooga, TN. A 50-year old unrepentent fanboy and lifetime Trekkie. Yeah, TREKKIE! Non o'this PC "Trekker" stuff for me. As well as just about anything else that goes in the imaginative mix. Comics, cards, action figures, weird movies, Classic Horror and all that that implies. my wife and I are Master Class costumers and I have been building (to the best of my humble ability) props an costumes since 1979. My wife runs a costume shop in town. We have been regular Sci-Fi/Fantasy convention goers for over two decades now and see no reason to stop. We hit DragonCon every year and revel in the costume and prop efforts of our fellow fans.
I've dropped in here from time to time and hope to be a steady member.

Ello, ello.
I've been a little fan girly lurker for a while now and was quite excited to see that registration was open.
I'm from Central Canada. (Manitoba area)
I have a feeling this site will be quite helpful in further costuming.

Here's a fun little item I made to complete a recent costume.
After searching for one and having no luck, I gave in and made my own.
Deadpool belt buckle!

That buckle looks great:) Welcome to the RPF:thumbsup

Re: *** New Members: Please Introduce Yourselves Here!

First time posting here; long time lurking. My interests include Firefly, Blade Runner and Indiana Jones. I am also a historic reenactor doing French and Indian War British, pirate, 17th century Dutch trader, and Jacobite impressions. I do a little leather work and stone carving as a hobby. Professionally I work in Ohio as an archaeologist.

I am not sure how much I can contribute to this forum being a novice but I am excited to finally be part of this community.

I will try to post some pictures of my collect.
