2024 SECRET SANTA THREAD - Registration Now CLOSED!

As usual I have been procrastinating on taking/posting pics of my gift, but I finally took the time to snap some shots.

I got an awesome art book for one of my favorite movies of the past decade, Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets

I also added my copies of the movie I already had to the shot, including the Nova Media 3D Blu-ray limited edition which I had to order from South Korea since the 3D wasn’t available in the US

Thank you Gryphon37 for another awesome gift!

Alright guys, we're moving with Muddler, Contec, and their respective Santas. (both have tracking, one we're watching, the other was returned and being re-sent).

Haven't heard from Douglascraig but he's a new dad and likely not on much. Unless he says otherwise I'm assuming he got his gift.

Gonna give this a couple more days and then have it un-pinned, but that doesn't mean I'm not still making sure people get their gifts. (y)

Ah sadly still nothing here. Tracking hasn't updated since the 31st when it left Canada. Don't know if maybe the post office are still working through a Canadian backlog? I'll update if it shows up! :)

According to the tracking info, The postman apparently tried to deliver the package today but could not, They are going to send me a message on where i can pick it up. I'm pretty sure its because the package could not fit into our mailbox. I will have to wait for their message.

Mark me as Received. We have a old saying in Sweden "Den som väntar på något gott, väntar aldrig för länge" Translated to : “The one who waits for something good, never waits too long" And just look at my Secret Santa package, a mysterious package, a classified folder filled with Top Secret and restricted material about the hunt for the holy Grail. Its gonna take some time to read through all this information:D. Thank you so much Secret Santa Mike for this Amazing material It looks and Smells so real . And thanks to Michael Bergeron for yet again doing this RPF SS

Really glad you're enjoying it my friend! Hopefully you can figure out where the Grail is at the moment! Sorry about the delay for it but it takes a while to get things released from Government archives.

Received my SS-gift today! :D
And as we already started with local proverbs: In Germany there's the similar old saying "Gut Ding will Weile haben" which might translate as "All things of worth take time".
I got a life-size (and life-weight!) replica of a dragon's egg from Game of Thrones! (Telling by the color it should be Drogon's).

With it came a theme-printed acrylic display box. As there were some special gloves added, I guess the acrylic will be vulnerable to fingerprints - so I didn't dare to peel off the protective foil yet...
Also got some cool stickers.
Really happy with my present - which was well worth the wait!
Thanks to my Secret Santa!

Alright, sadly it seems like the gift for DouglasCraig has been lost in the mail, despite tracking. By any chance is there anyone in the EU/UK willing to be a backup Santa? He's the last one that needs to receive to finish this up!

So embarrassingly, my long lost Canadian secret santa showed up put of the blue this week! I have no idea what happened, maybe some kind of problems with the postal system over her, I dunno...

Anyway, im thrilled that its here. There was clearly a lot of effort put into it. It's a 1:1 replica of the slayers scythe from Buffy! I don't have any buffy props, and thus is a really nice piece. Can't wait to get it put together and painted! Thanks so much Portugeek! Merry Christmas?...

Hey, um, merry christmas everyone? So even more embarrassingly, my backup secret santa parcel arrived yesterday after what I can only imagine was a lovely 3 month holiday around the post offices of Ireland. (I don't even live in ireland).

Anyway, I was delighted to get a really excellent parcel of gifts from Bacta! Mostly Alien patches (I ****** love patches) plus some great little name tags, a police badge (I'm pretty sure its blade runner but correct me if im wrong) and best of all this Alien space jockey sketch!

I've just moved in to a new workshop so I'm very happy to have some RPF art to put on the walls.

Sorry Michael for being the problem child this year, thanks so much to Bacta for the last minute gifts!
