2024 SECRET SANTA THREAD - Registration Now CLOSED!

Thank you to my secret Santa for the time turner replica and black panther bust! I don’t have a time turner in my collection so this is perfect!

Received today! Big thank you to aeryn for the Spaceballs package! I got a letter from her, Spaceballs style, explaining the included Lone Starr medallion and belt buckle! The President Skroob buckle is cast from an original production piece, with a metallic powder in the resin that really makes it look like an actual metal item. The Lone Starr medallion looks to have been made the same way, in the same style. Thank you very much, I really love them! I'm always excited to find out which topic from my interest list is the one that gets the focus from my Santa, and I look forward to many more! Merry Christmas to all, keep the photos coming!

Pictures of my gift :) though it is far from my interests that I listed, it is really cool! I can tell a lot of work was put into it! So thank you Secret Santa!! It’s a case file made from the original Friday the 13th film. It was so well done it kinda gave me a feel like I was looking at a real case file that I was investigating! Pretty cool! Merry Christmas everyone! And thank you again Michael for putting this on every year and to my secret santa! :)
Sometimes gifts that broaden your horizons are the best ones! That's a really cool set. :)

You can mark me as received! Thank you again Muddler for another great gift. This year I got cold cast Erebor key and cool map! (Even tho the letter mentoned some imperfections in the key, I only see some unique character on the backside Funnily enough I have also tried to make this key myself before but the 3d print failed so many times I gave up so I really appriciate this).

This is also perfect addition to my collection at a perfect time since I am starting to DM a Moria and Erebor based dungeons and dragons campaign in a few months, which revolves greatly around finding a lost dwarven key to depths of the mines. Now i have a physical prop for that

I didn’t have my SS revealed, but that’s ok! I got the music box from Anastasia and it’s beautiful! Goes perfect on my antique Vanity too. Always great when I have instant spots to display my RPFSS gifts. Thank you!

Thanks to my Secret Santa for this awesome Batman: Mask of the Phantasm poster. I suspect this is Santa’s original illustration, as I couldn’t find any info on it. Would love hear more information on this if they are willing to share! Can’t go wrong here Paul Dini is a legend, and Bruce Timm and Shane Glines were huge personal inspirations that greatly informed my own art style. Thanks again Santa!

Sorry you didn’t like it, I couldn’t get any inspiration from the list you made this year, so I went back to all your old posts. Saw you liked horror movies in one of your previous secret Santa lists and thought you’d get a kick outta an old school police report from a classic horror movie. Sort of sucks cause it really was fun making all those files and flyers and photos, sorry it’s not really an interest of yours anymore.

Finally got around to opening and getting a picture of my gift this year. Thank you so much Brendan ! This BTTF/ Goonies haul. Love the Welly DeLorean. I had one years ago and it got lost during a move. The Doctor Collector Almanac has been on my want list since I saw it. I had a Roland Almanac back in the day and parted ways with it.

The Save the clocktower filers are fantastic ! I actually had one I had signed back in 2004 by Claudia. It’s seen better days. I’m excited to add these into the collection. The Goonies gold piece was a nice surprise! Thanks again!

You are very welcome! Glad you like it!

Thank you so very much Secret Santa! I got a whole bunch of items. A stack of science fiction cards, some Star Trek window clings, a ceramic R2D2, a pixelated NES Legend of Zelda rupee, and a pixelated flying rabbit Mario from Super Mario Land 2 on the game boy.
These are great! I think my favorite is the rabbit Mario. I had gotten Super Mario Land 2 for my birthday I don't know how many years ago, so it's very nostalgic and meaningful for me. R2D2 has always been my favorite droid, and you were definitely right I love science fiction things so the cards are great too! The rupee is also really fun. I like how you score the wood to paint the pixels. The window clings are fun too, I need to find a way to display everything.

So glad you liked everything! Especially happy that Mario Land 2 means something to you! I have good memories of playing a demo of it all the time on one of those kiosks they used to have at Toys R Us, so I also look upon that game with lots of nostalgia. I'm super happy to have been assigned to you, since you hit it out of the park with my Mr. Flibble last year! Enjoy your package!

Oh I did like it, it was very well done! My interests are always changing as far as what I’m really into at that time. But I will always love scary movies! And this gift has inspired me to rewatch the original Friday the 13th and all the sequels. Just trying to find time with my wife who has never seen the original movie. And you better believe that case file will be right there with me when I’m watching them making me feel like I am there :) so thank you again :)

I opened this amazing gift about a week ago and was stunned. A huge Hellboy Mechaglove hand built by inaleakyshed. This thing is built out and heavy. So many fun little details custom made to fit into the glass vials.
Unfortunately my post office is notorious for being less then gentle and a few parts had broken off. Not a chance I would post such a awesome gift in that state. With his help I got it fixed back up and to it's full glory. This is going to be a focal point and conversation piece on my work desk for sure. Another incredible Secret Santa this year!
