Here's another update on the 3D T-Rex . Adding more detail and am starting to play with colors.

This is a real-time render btw, so if I were to pop him in a game, that's what he'd look like right now. More to come soon!

lol Thanks Eaglewood! I might take you up on that offer once I get him posed up for print. Right now he's cool, but not very dynamic.

I'm definitely thinking of doing a Predator VS. series that gets printed. Think Preds vs T-Rex, Pred vs T-800.etc.

Thanks so much! I mostly use a combination of 3ds MAX and ZBrush. All of the digitial sculpting (and most of the cooler pics in this thread are done in ZBrush). I love that program, it's essentially digital sculpting/clay.

Here's some more progress:

Since then I also added some placeholder dreads and a body to help with overall proportioning. I've also begun placing more quills on his crown and I've started sculpting on the top of the head. Hope you guys like him!

Last update for the day, I'm overlaying an image in Zbrush (using Spotlight) of the actual Predator to transfer some of the spotting and to alter his proportions.

It is so cool to be able to see something like this. I love the looks of this rascal. It is just how I would envision my suit to look if I ever am able to complete it. Great work on this. Please keep it up!

Here's a more realistic render of the Predator headsculpt so far. I might actually get this 3D printed 1/6 size so people can use this to convertHot Toys Classic Predator (from Predators) figure (which comes with a terrible headsculpt) into a P1. Hope you like it!
