New Indiana Jones Items from Disney - Sankara Stone, Crystal Skull, Holy Grail, Idol, Staff of Ra headpiece

After seeing hudsonsbbq’s excellent mod on his Disney Sankara stone, I had to give it a try on mine. Not perfect, but it’s better than the lava lump it was, and it’s a stone I can live with.

On the bottom of the stone there’s a Disney tab; underneath that is the on/off switch and the battery compartment. The button on the stone itself will make it light up and flicker but it stops after about 10-15 seconds.

Hmm mine doesn’t flicker or turn off on its own am I doing something wrong?

Once you turn the stone on, it will briefly flicker then go solid for about 20 seconds then stop. On the side of the stone there’s a little patch or indentation. Once you push that it cycles through flickering and going solid again. Hope that helps.

Mine just never flickers and it stays on. Hmm. And i Seem to have to have contact somewhere else on the stone too to activate

My new Disney licensed Staff of Ra Medallion (I'm not crazy about the copyright in the bottom corner on one side, but otherwise, I thought it looked pretty good for the price, however screen inaccurate in some details when you look closely and comes with its own stand). The feather details, etc. are great, however.

I agree with you about the LFL marking on the back of the headpiece. I’m thinking it could be removed with something like Goo Gone or similar, but I don’t want to damage the finish on the piece.

I really would like to have one of this Crystal Skulls.But its impossible to order because the US-disneyshop don´t ships to europe.
Only on ebay you can pay 399$ and more plus shipping.

I didn't think the premise was as bad as the execution of it. The government showing up to haul alien tech away and lock it up works for me. Having a crystal skull merge with others and come alive for no reason doesn't.

The plot was cool with the Alienartifact but the script was terrible.The skullprop was also cool.
But I really want a Crystal Skull that can burn the pics out of my mind when Shia LaBeouf is swinging with the apes.

Has anyone who ordered the grail at the end of June received theirs? The shopdisney website is somewhat concerning, as it says "delivered" but there's no tracking number listed. I definitely haven't received it yet or been charged though (they did do a pre-authorization in July for the $53 but it never posted).

Thanks,but the price is british pounds...and when you change that in Euro you have the same scamprice like on ebay.And also customfees and shipping because the UK is no more an EU member.

BTW I maintain that the lineage of Disney's Headpiece can be traced aaaaaaalllll the way back to AliExpress... They prob spec'd a different color crystal... Here's the version you can get there for $25 :

I have that one along with about 9 other headpieces. The Ali headpiece has great detail in the feathers, but looks way too pristine. The biggest negative is its very flat. Look at it from the side profile and you'll see it's way too thin in the middle. Honestly though it's a pretty good value for $25. The best "bang for the buck" out of the ones I have is the Dark Matter Props (newest version) for $80. If money is no object, go for RelicMaker with the soldered chain (just like on the original prop). I've also ordered the Disney version, so when that arrives I'll try to post comparison photos with all the headpieces I have in my collection.
