Thank you.
Of course the blasters are not build for a long trooping day

The heaviest one is the ANH, it‘s about 3,9 KG, the others are between 3,3 and 3,4 KG.

And now the third one, the ROTJ version.

I know it‘s originally based on the MGC Sterling, but I still wasn‘t able to find one. Two times I had the opportunity, but it was way too expensive at that time.

So I decided to use another regular Sterling. I converted it to match the MGC and made a new bolt, which is still working, similar to the MGC one.

All additional parts are completely made by myself. Like my other blasters I want to have it as much as possible made from metal.

Hello to everyone. My name is Ralf and I'm new on the RPF. I'm making props and models for quite a while and want to show some of my works.

Please tell me what you think. If you're interested I'll post some wip pictures.

My most time I spent on the DL-44 and E-11 blasters but there are some more things I liked and like to do.
Great job on everything, what items did you use for that Death star security camera, was it a kit or something, would love to build one

Thank you very much.

For the Detention Center camera I managed to get six original Patterson slide viewers. All the additional parts an greeblies are made by myself. I made the mounting from aluminium tube.

I‘ll post detailed photos next time, so stay tuned ;-)

Here‘s my Detention Center camera.

The back of the camera is not screen accurate, but I found the the simple black block of the original really boring. I used a leftover part of a Sandtrooper backpack And constructed a, how I think, a much more interesting back of the camera.

Now to the next one. I always liked the DL-44 Dagobah-Blaster, it‘s a nice hybrid of the ANH hero and the ESB blaster.

All parts of the blaster are completely made by myself and I put a lot of time into the conversion of the Denix base gun. I even replicated the V8-kit parts in metal, I really like to have a full metal blaster.

There‘s only one part in resin, the main body of the M19, I did all added parts of the scope in brass.

I havn´t been such impressed here for a very long time. Having the parts bought and assembled and make them look right is easy, especially with all real parts - but some of your selfmade parts are way behind pure dedication to the hobby.

Thank you very much, for me its a great fun building and machining this parts.

Next on the list is my ANH DL-44.

here I also used a Denix gun as a base. I heavily modified it, including a real Mauser mag plate. I used the complete parts offered by Todd‘s costumes, I wanted these nice steel parts. The grill is one of DEC‘s really nice metal casts.

I also managed to grab a pair of original Mauser wood grips. It took some time to fit them on the Denix.

These props look awesome! What's the general cost for building one? and where are you from? would love ot commission you sometime for something, if the circumstances allow

Thank you very much, guys.

The next project I want to show is my Merr Sonn blaster. I didn‘t have a lot of reference pics and some of the greeblies are missing on the original prop, so some interpretation was needed to create the missing parts.

As always, I try to realize all greeblies in metal, so I made the audio plug housing from aluminium. The flash hider, antenna greeblies and T-track are leftover parts from DEC and I used Reade Models grills for it. All the rest is selfmade.

Here‘s my version of the Merr Sonn.

Now I want to share a little fun project: the bad motivator of R5-D4.

I found the base part as a resin kit a while ago and thought it would be a cool idea to make a kind of display of it.

The whole thing is made from polystyrene sheets. I buildt a section of R5‘s head with the little open hatch of the motivator (I know, the thing flew away but I liked To make the detail of the inner hatch and the hinge. The base construction is dressed up the leftover parts from the revell V8 engine kit and a bunch of old electronic parts and wires. I also added a red led and a small smoke generator.

Hope you like this little thing, too.

I wanted to add a little video of the smoking motivator, but it was not possible to upload it. Does anyone know how I can do that? Thanks in advance.

Here‘s my build of Han‘s ESB DL-44 Blaster. I made a hybrid of the Hoth and Bespin version, that‘s how I like it best.

“As usual“, I did all greeblies in metal. The M19-scope is from DEC, the flashhider is from Fieldmarshall.

I tried to replicate the V8-Kit parts as good as possible.

Now I want to show another resin kit build. The Endor Rebel proton grenade. I replaced the activation knob and two other parts with aluminium ones I made and added a pair of real denode parts. The activation knob is functional an switches on two red led lights.

The foot plate of the grenade contains four magnets, so I decided to make an acrylic display plate with an angled position.
