Currently working on making a replica Basilisk fang...it's still a work-in-progress...I've never made something out of clay before, so we'll see how it goes!

Yeah, I live in Southern Cal so I visit Whimsic Alley a few times a year. It's a great store!

Thank you!! I have seen the pics, they are a great reference.

I finished the paint on my fang a few months ago. I might leave it as it is, or maybe add a little ware to it.

So it's been nearly 2 years since I started this thread, and my collection has changed A LOT! About 6 months ago I decided to put about 90% of my Harry Potter collection into storage. I have now been redecorating to display my other interests and hobbies that I couldn't before. I still have all my HP replicas on display, but none of my other collectibles. Take a look at my new room, and let me know what you think! Thanks!

I think a room themed with one movie/topic/whatever looks a lot more impressive than a room with more stuff from different genres.

I liked your HP room more before your Redecoration. Maybe because HP is Fantasy, but could be also antique stuff from all around the world... Looks awesome, especially if someone deorates his office with HP stuff or something...

Sorry? I enjoy different things and I like to display the stuff I am passionate about, HP included. I worked really hard on this redecoration and I'm proud of it.

Just saying sometimes it looks more impressive if things have enough space or presented to be an eyecatcher...

There's nothing wrong with your decoration, but I liked it the way it was, that's all... Sometimes less is more...

Maybe the previous, only HP themed version is more impressive if somebody visited your room like a musem but I would prefer the current one to live in You got some really cool stuff in there (those leather bound barnes and noble editions look really pretty and I like all the comics stuff too, especially Runaways)
