Still missing: the Discovery astronauts and various costumes 1/6 scale, helmet, Aries-1B, key to HAL's panel, key to HAL's memory slides, Discovery, various bombs orbiting Earth, etc...

That Space Station, Joberg, is just outstanding. Testament to your love for 2001 and as perfectly executed as the movie ;)

That is a very nice collection you have.

Just to let you know that A-B Emblem, the company that makes patches for NASA, have made a Discovery patch in the style of the Apollo Era style, using gold metallic embroidery. it looks great and it would be a nice addition to you collection.

Thanks guys; it's appreciated. Trema: thanks for the instructions for the toilet. breen 2057: thanks for the tip, I'll check that out ASAP.

I ’ve followed a lot of these build over the years , joberg. incredible Work. The space station build was phenomenal.

:)Thanks Analyzer...and yes Pyramidrep, that Space Station was quite the build...imagine, it has already been almost 6 years ago

Drusselmeyer...sorry for the slow answer: dia for the EVA Pod is 13 1/5 inches.

Here's another project I wanted to do for a long time. I experimented with blue foam and epoxy (a learning curve for sure) I put it more as a "mock-up" rather than a fully finished prop. Next time I'm tackling the same, it'll be in MDF.

This is the mystery prop seen in the Moon trench in 2001.
