Hey man, thank you, especially since you can't share what you have.
Since that's the case, I'm guessing the circle on the booster and the dot under the emitter are machining marks.. given the "pause" between pommel cubes on the V2, i get the idea of hesitant marks from planning cuts.

2 flute is a slot mill & you can plunge cut some with those. NOt pretty - I'm sure it wasn't.
Trying to get back on topic, have you anything that shows the 1/2 moon in the booster groove in better res. that you can look at ? I'm convinced that isn't a machining mark.

my post #111 previous page. It's a neat 'D' shape, noticably much darker than the aluminium & maintains shape & shade across all photo's. If it were a tool mark it would be aluminium colour - it's not shadow as it's colour remains constant across angles & in dif lighting.
Looks like shmutz to meI thought the dark mark was shmutz

***** ****** this is cool! The grip profile and the emitter flange ratios are scary good. Emitter plate looks right too, if I remember that being one of the tweaks
have you drawn in the 1/8" hole that starts at the base of the nipple hole? At least it could be a hair smaller than 1/8 but I have no clue how deep it goes

This is looking great! One thing though, is it just me or do the triangles on the control box look a little big compared to the original?
Not just you. I think they need adjustments I just haven't gotten to control box revisions yet.
I've got a few to make, based on overlay photos and also a 2nd generation casting we have access to that we are using to help validate proportions against.
Also need to make some gear adjustments for minor clocking tweaks.
Black button changes... triangle size and minor placement adjustments.
The main body groove needs to move down a hair, and minor emitter adjustments.
On the plus side, I think the grenade is absolutely flawless from all the overlays and accounting for casting shrinkages and behaviors of that shrinkage.
