For Star Wars day, and being of course Return of the Jedi's 41st birthday....and this year is Final Fantasy 6's 30th, thought it fun to mix the two with one of the silly boss characters. Made this one last year actually.

Even though I much prefer the original without any type of beak, it just worked so well with this character, Ultros. Silly fun. And of course, Happy REAL Star Wars day.

Was just visiting my Grandma's grave with my parents. Happened to see another tombstone where the person died February 24th, 1977. I asked my parents what the biggest tradgey was here. They weren't sure.
I'm like, they missed Star Wars by 3 months and 1 day, how terrible.

"orthodox".. Love it!

In celebration:

As I'm sure we all know here, although most of the exterior Tatooine scenes were shot in Tunisia, they picked up a bunch of shots a year later in Death Valley.

When Threepio and Artoo are arguing about which direction to go, closeups of Artoo switch back and forth between Tunisia (smooth sand) and Death Valley (rippled sand). They are also different R2 props.
You can really see the dykem in that sun light. One of the panels is actually missing the dykem too..

This probably old news.... But guys you can see the the Kenny Baker Artoo in some wide shots. And you can totally see his legs.

There’s a scene right before the Jawas appear, r2 is in a valley, the radio controls weren’t working, r2 was in 3 leg mode

They put Kenny behind r2 and had him spin his dome from behind, you could see his little legs behind r2…

I’m going to try and find it now

I've never seen that before, and see it was made almost 3 years ago now.
Our stories are different, but I know exactly how he feels.
Almost making it into Warner Brothers years ago, and having plenty other opportunities to possibly "get somewhere".....only to have the door shut in your face because of something that happened not in your control.
I guess thats just how life works sometimes....

It's so good, that it deserves a re-post. For those of you who haven't seen it, I recommend that you watch this 16 minute, mini Star Wars documentary straight through, and give it your full attention.

Right after the home release dvd's came out, I saw the audition of the 3 last potential anakins, and when i saw Devon I was like: Why didn't he get the part?, He had that half bad half good eyes, he seemed more mature and focused. Whereas Lloyd was more of a typical 8 year old.

Don't get me wrong im ok with Jake, but I dont see how he could turn in to Hayden, does this make sense?

To me, he looked like a 9 year old Mark Hamill.
