I really did love Ben and Rey. Ben's redemption, how they were able to utilize Carrie's passing and left over footage. Love all that.
I'm indifferent to Palpatine being back. On one hand I would have loved to see Kylo elevated to the main antagonist. But on the other hand I realize they need a big bad guy if they were going to redeem Ben part way into the film. And that Palpatine was the best candidate to fill that role. Also I do like that Palpatine is the arch nemesis to the Skywalker family.
I'm also indifferent to Rey Palpatine. Yes I like Rey Nobody. But going back and seeing TFA and realizing that the heir of the Empire is living as a scavenger in the ruins of the Empire, is also interesting. It's also adds insult to injury that the Force would use a Palpatine to kill Palpatine.

Is it just me or does the Tantive look to small? Per online it says it's 416 feet or 126.8 meters. Maybe I'm wrong, just looking at that I can't see the hallways and corridors shown in ep4. Maybe another ship of riddles
I envy your problems, sir...Yup, under scale in the movie and personally I find it insulting.
Its true, and I'm not insulted by much these days....I envy your problems, sir...[emoji38]
Nothing new here, but I stumbled across this while confirming something a friend shared before I realized it's April 1st.
Disney+ Should Offer the Star Wars Original Cuts—All of Them
I mean, probably, but 'F' that.Wasn't it part of the legal agreement between Lucas and Disney that the original versions will not be released as it goes against the express wishes of Lucas himself.
