I'm in the same boat. Will not buy the ot ever again officially untill it's the OOT or at least includes them.

I'm tired of buying the same movie over and over with only minor changes. The 2011 release was enough for me.

Will never be released, well not anytime soon. Lucas made it part of the sale that the versions as he left them, were the definitive and not to be put back as they were when originally released

Yeah the last set I bought was the 2006 limited edition set. Plus I have bonus disc from the 2004 release with Empire of dreams.

OK, now I got Disney+ I decided to try watching Rebels with my son. Pretty decent so far but one thing bugs me. The Stormtroopers are such a joke, they’re even worse shots than their movie counterparts...

Tell me this gets better.

It totally does. Outright dark the last 2 seasons. There are always moments of levity, but things do get pretty heavy. If for nothing else, stick with it as something to do with your son. I'm pretty sure you'll start enjoying it much more as the series goes on.

I've never read the novel, but I doubt hot chocolate was in there because I remember specifically in the 1st Zahn book when Luke is drinking hot chocolate he mentions Lando introducing it to him.

Lando introduced Luke to Hot Chocolate? That old smoothie.

I just hooked up my new 50" 4K Fire TV and guess what the first thing I am currently watching?

THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK Despecialized Edition 2.0

Picture and sound quality is FANTASTIC, crisp 4K image and amazing bass. This is the best home viewing I've had of the film!

Yeah I saw it. I thought it was great. Owen comes off a little boneheaded though. I'm not into fan films that much. As much as I appreciate the tremendous amount of work with a limited budget that goes into them, they just end up being kind of boring. I really liked this one though.

From what I could tell based on the sound venting on the pommel, the hilt they used looks like a Force FX.

It was pretty good, I guess. I just like Jaime Costa.
The big thing that stood out to me was Aunt Beru.
How did she go from 20 to 70 in, like, 12 years?

No. She'd be under 60, not ancient. Plus, as mentioned, she'd recognize the name. For what it's worth, here's what Koo Stark looks like now (at 63):
