For the first time in my life as an RPF member I have to say “according to the novelization of ROTS he was aware.
I don’t remember the details cuz I was still at uni when I read it but there was a long sequence of Dooku’s thoughts where he was lamenting that he has to kill Obi-wan to turn Anakin cuz he trained Qui-gon and felt somehow related to Obi-wan. And he was also made out to be some sort of human only fascist and considered Anakin’s skeletor-hand an abomination or something like that.I don’t even know why I remember it, it’s one of the better written EU books/novelizations that somehow stuck in my head.

I'm not sure I believe it.
It's all too "neat" and pretty. It sounds more like marketing and CYA sorta stuff, so it looks like they're in control (even though they're admitting losing the script).
Better to admit losing the script than not being able to pinpoint the source of the leak.
I'm happy to be wrong, probably am, but the thought just occurred to me. Was there a screen shot of the alleged auction?

Ya, the whole story about it getting on ebay, and then his story behind how it was taken, all sounded really odd to me. Like a child lying and they come up with some very elaborate story that is just a little too neat and tidy.

Saved to Watch Later, will be interesting in a couple of weeks. I remember I even had a spoiler filter on my browser before TFA. Then I read the leaked synopsis after the release, was an interesting exercise on how the story changed over the course of a year.

I’ve kept ep9 spoiler free.. freak’n cable is killing me though.. ever commercial shows new stuff, I literally close my eyes now when any of them air... kind of ridiculous now...
I was so disappointed with spoilers back in 2015 with ep7, I was spoiler free. We didn’t know or see anything of snoke, back at this time I had Facebook and got out of all my Star Wars groups in fear of leaks
Do you believe 3 or 4 days before it premiered someone in a ghostbusters group I’m in leaked his concept art... I was pissed!!

I had a young friend who got to see TFA before I did. He desperately wanted to tell me something. I told him, "I don't want to hear anything." The moment I turn my back to him he blurts out "Kylo Ren is Han Solo's son!" Oooooh I was so mad! I felt like punching him
Fast forward to me sitting in the theater. And Snoke says to Kylo that BB-8 is in the hands of his father, Han Solo. I can hear people gasping in shock. But not me, I already knew........argh.....
I went into TFA without reading spoilers but the reveal of Kylo being Han and Leia's son didn't surprise me at all. Was that intended to be some "I am your father" moment because I never got that vibe from it? I figured at least one of the new leads had to be related to the Skywalker line in some capacity.
