Since I've been contributing to this thread mostly to complain the last few times, I'm gonna change the tune here for a moment just to balance things out:
- That new trailer is very good. It's well paced, showcases some nice looking shots, I like the use of "Sympathy for the Devil" as a period establishing piece (similar to "Hound Dog" in Crystal Skull) and, most importantly, at least it hints at a story.
- I never really got this fixation with Kathleen Kennedy from fan circles. She's just one more pawn in a giant, complex structure where higher powers and an infinite number of bureaucratic layers determine what goes on, not her. If anything, that lady is probably the closest there's left in Lucasfilm to the spirit of Lucas and Spielberg. She's produced more good films than Marvel or Pixar have made in the past 10 or 15 years. She's on record admitting that her first instinct was to resist the Disney choice to produce countless spin-offs of stuff. Chances are if she had actual final say on things, all these movies would be coming out better. And while this is certainly just a guess, I've always found it to be a more logical conclusion based on her track record than assuming she's pushing some weird agenda.
- Not sure what people expect Helena's role to be if not someone who propels the adventure? Indiana Jones has been rejecting the initial call for action since The Last Crusade and he's now 70 years old. There has to be some other character pushing him in that direction or there would be no believable or emotional reason for him to go. That's how you end up with his father, lost wife and son, and now goddaughter. It's just how stories work.
PS. Capitalism does involve taking from others for profit, although the line does feel a bit on the nose, doesn't seem to really match the context all that well, and it's kinda redundant after Crystal Skull—they already made the capitalist joke there, and it was better placed, since it was a greedy bad guy embracing it. Another word might have felt fresher there.
There's also the Mask of Coronado and Spanish dagger in Crystal Skull. And this one is gonna have a whole Nazi train filled with treasure, so I think there's going to be plenty of cool stuff to collect in that department.

I hope that dial thing is not going to be the only prop to collect. I didn't see much else in the trailer to suggest a series of props like the first three movies and a flashlight and Mutt's knife were about the only things (beyond a 4th version of Indy's Fedora) to collect from Crystal Skull other than the skull itself (unless you wanted a vintage fridge to hide from atomic weapons).
