Oh Boy look what came in the mail today. Now the build is on, but I still have some other projects to finish first but they are here then the others will follow as Randys email stated. Thanks....Jim Picture 819.jpgPicture 820.jpg Picture 821.jpg

Well you should be getting them about anytime, first of the week I hope for you. By the way your trip to the con must have been fun seen your pics and your wife's Ray came out great, and I love the helmet, love your spider man costume as well. The wait is about over. Thanks....Jim

I take it youre doing a Graflex 2.0, Jim? ...i'm not 100% that/those heatsink/s will be suitable....
Yes you are rite they wont work but they will with the other sabers I have ordered. I thought I could do some machining on the core but there isn't very much to work with. Looks like another tcss order well I do need a bunch more from there any ways. Thanks....Jim

I could take a measurement with a mm rule and take a pic of this if you like. But by looking at the rear it seems like the goth chassis will work. Thanks....Jim

The small paper that it comes with says 2.0 kit. Thanks.....Jim

I'll be curious if anyone has had this catastrophic problem happen...

Got my 2.0 in the mail today. I've had my crystal chamber set-up now for over a month in preparation. I am following the "lets build a gralfex" youtube series (amazing, btw). Everything is going swimingly, until I go to screw the bottom half on. It would go in, so I sanded the bottom of the chamber a bit and it went on with some effort. Then It gives me grief while trying to screw it on, but it screws on. I pull the kill key and there is no sound, but all the LEDs light up, included the blade LEDs. So i turn it off and as I try and screw off the bottom half, it rips apart my crystal chamber and all my wiring.

Has anyone had this happen before? I am pretty upset about it....

guess I was unlucky enough that my label was printed and I was skipped over....so waiting longer even though I should have my saber in hand

So, are you saying you torqued the crystal chamber by screwing the bottom on and it made contact with the crystal chamber, or are you saying you cross-threaded the bottom and it hosed everything? Not sure exactly what you experienced here...

I just got mine Mon. and I ordered in Feb. When did you order, 'cause I know Randy is shipping by order date. Did you email him and he said there was an error?

I did email him and said there was a mix up. Said I was accidentally skipped being he has no real numbering system he just printed out all the labels for all 600 or whatever amount of orders there is and mine got shuffled it would seem. He's waiting for 200 more to get through customs he says...so still waiting.

Torqued the chamber when I screwed it on.

I am guessing your grips on the inside of the back part of the hilt my have clearance problems the grips on the inside may be your problem. I am still waiting on my tcss order have to reorder a bunch more prats that would fit, but all I have ordered will fit my next order sabers coming in the fall. Thanks....Jim
