Question Firefox login issue

When visiting here I always have to start typing my username to re-login. My username and password are in the "remember password" list but every single time I have to at least type in the first letter of my user name in the login fields. When using IE it's no issue, just firefox. Any advice appreciated.

I don't know if this will help or not but I had a similar problem recently. Go into saved passwords and delete the RPF entry then clear the cache.

Close FF then restart FF go to the RPF and try logging in again as if you are visiting for the first time and check the "remember me" box and the FF save password option.

It worked for me so I hope it does for you.

Sell the Mac and get a PC? :lol

Clear your temp files and all cookies that point towards therpf is all I can say, I would guess that there is a 99.9% probability of a corrupt cookie or temp file on the computer causing the issue, you need to get the computer to dump that corrupt file...

None of the suggestions worked so I gave up.
Been logging in every visit (PITA), but gotten used to it.

Today... out of the blue, it works as it should! WTF? I didn't do a thing, just started accepting my visits without having to log in! Maybe it was some back door update from firefox or forum host?

Your bad/troublesome cookie probably expired finally thus forcing a download of a new valid one...
