Thanks, but i still make soe mistakes on the laces :/
but i guess i'm gonna make another pair later with a better knowledge for this part.
I can say that the laces and the joint on the sides are the trickiest things to do on these shoes.
And i'll have to redesign the pattern too at some point to make a better toe box.

I need to be sure that on my pattern it is like this on every shoe I make. Because to get it like on this one I had to cut and tape the fabric so many time... :/
And my real problem is the laces ! They're driving me crazy ^^ (ok, the ribs too... and the side joints... :devil )
Oh, speaking of the toebox, have you seen the Jordan Eclipse ? They really have the sock toe style we're looking for.
By seeing them, you realize that it is not really possible to have the perfect shape that stands up and the sock toe style.
And in the movie it is clearly 2 different pair that were used for this lacing scene where the shoe is almost falling and looks so soft...

Yeah I bet the laces are the real PITA.
No I have not seen that shoe yet.
Sock toes are just that - soft and deformed. It is only the 2011 MAG that has a toe box. The 1989 shoe has a slump in the toe.
So I have always gone for a toe as clean as possible, but one that still slumps.
I right clicked your image to open in a new tab >right click the image in the new tap to reveal options > selected "copy image". Go back to post and press Ctrl + V. Image becomes embedded in the post.

Yes this is the HC sole with the original lights. As I said in some page before, this is modded by adding a GITD "D" Shape under the transparent midsole. Put a second layer of gluegun plastic "D" Shape that I cutted to insert the light in the middle and finish by adding a reflective surface on the very back. It is better than the sh*ty plastic tube that come with the led. And as this one is randomly placed on the bottom, it doesn't illuminate the whole shape. I'd like to put some EL, but I need to find a store for that and the smallest inverter etc... If you have some advices...
About the Jordan eclipse, you defenatly want to see them but not from images because they're always showing you some stuffed shoes.
And the sole comes with some air mag splatter patterns on the one I saw. (thanks for the embeding image tricks
) Yep, I was refering to the 1989 model. I'm not a fan of it when MY FEET are inside cause my big toe are pointing up ^^) but that look in the movie jus before he gets in the shoe... :rolleyes
Me too, but it is an expensive mod ^^ I might do something about this if I find some sillicon and cut the bottom of the midsole... not sure about doing this :/Yeah and I want to see some wide soles on them too
