Seeing as there are still very few threads dealing with this absolutely exceptional kit I wanted to come out of the woodwork and drop my take on it into the arena, hopefully to inspire any others that are (like I was) afraid of getting started with it...
TipTop have done an amazing job in putting this thing together and were super supportive of lots of silly questions from me post purchase so thanks again for your time DaveChaos
Although this is my 4th Blaster over the last 15 years or so it's my 1st time working with metal and I was very nervous about it...needlessly I might add.
I put off working on it for some weeks after receiving it but as soon as I got over the first hurdles it took almost too little time to finish!
I took a lot of help, like many I'm sure, from wayouteast highly detailed thread deviating only slightly here and there cos a: I'm difficult like that and b: I wanted to explore a bit on my own with the patina/metal staining which was the Priory Polishes Pewter antiquing fluid with Jade oil and coated off with dull down.
I also swapped out the grub screws on the receiver top and the Steyr magazine left side from hex to slotted as per the Worldcon pics
Anyway here she is in as much glory as my average photography skills will allow.
*edit - when I say finished - I know already that I'll revisit some parts again at a later date....cos I always do.
ALSO! I have to say tha it feels absolutely BEAST in hand once it's done....1.7kg of Replicant stopping power,
