That's the same jacket that's on display in Phoenix right now. I can tell by the lose thread on the pocket flap. I'm sure they just let him try it on for a minute. That jacket regularly hangs with that shirt in the Fox archives.

Oh yeah, I hear you. I ordered the same color as AJ and as I've been reading through the thread I admit I have been a bit worried it may be too red. But I am convinced it's the same leather as my Mayhem which I have been wearing around all the time so I think it will be fine. We'll see how it goes I guess.
I like the intensity of the red in Tyler's jackets, but I do also like how it gets darker in certain lighting. I haven't really worn the Mayhem in the dark much so I'm not sure how dark this leather can get but it looks like it's probably right for the actual jacket color and according to AJ who I trust, it is. If I really want a darker one, the scary truth is that I will probably buy another.
No stopping that really, just maybe delaying… so hopefully this one does it for me. But I was planning to buy one anyway and I wanted to take the opportunity to get one in the accurate color before the display is gone. I'm really curious to see how red it looks. With the white in the Mayhem it really works, but I'm curious how it will look on a bigger, brand new, completely red jacket. Can't wait for some pics!

Just purchased a pair of hodgman's in size eight for very cheap. I usually wear a 9.5 or 10 in boots. no more then a 12-12.25 " outsole measurement, and that's typically very comfortable. The seller listed them with an 11.75" outsole for length. Really hoping they fit.

Ok guys here is what you been waiting for. First picture is the thicker jacket. The rest are of the new JAL with shoulderpads. It fits amazing and is super light and thin. You actually wear the jacket. I didn't have time to really capture the different colors but I can assure you outside it has that brown / reddish look while in a bright light it has that red look. I also zoomed in on the shoulder to show the overlap stitch and why it could be confused for a blind due to being so subtle. Finally, I am pointing to show the shoulderpad similar to Brad Pitt in the movie.

I wear a UK size ten and have no idea what size to go for. It all seems very confusing.
Ok, i like the jacket. Hard to capture colour I guess, but looks good. It does look very similar to your last one. I am using an iPad and it almost looks a very light red. Love the shoulder.

The thicker jacket looks better, but the color doesn't seem right still on either.
For that price Im not wanting the JAL if its not going to be an exact Replica through and through.
I wonder how the new SR Jacket holds up compared to JAL's.
There jacket color looks more rugged also.

10 UK is a 10.5 US, a size 9 Hodgman should be a good fit.

It looks perfect Aj. Way more screen accurate than your other two jackets. Definitely the closest anyone is gonna get to the screen used jacket. Wait till it gets a little wear and molds to your body. It's brand new and it already has great hang and fit. :thumbsup Please get us some close up pics. Thanks. Congrats.

I was gonna say the same thing Dan. It's box fresh and a bit squashed so it'll need to get some wear before it looks correct. I do like it. It's very close to the thicker leather in colour.
Thanks Soul. I couldn't work out which way I needed to go. Now all I have to do is find some. After I have ordered my layer cake jacket, Logan vanilla sky, Logan 24 season 8 and a new Fight club. In about 6 months then.

AJ, it looks great! I really like the fit and hang. That's probably about as close as it will ever be. I'll have to see how the red works for me whenever it arrives, but it looks good on you. What is the lining like?
I was trying to capture the color of my Mayhem last night, and if it's the same leather, it's incredibly hard to capture the right color. I was taking pics in low lighting where the jacket looked almost crimson but it kept turning out BRIGHT RED in the pictures. Natural light is another animal completely. So I think seeing it in person is going to be the deciding factor. But regardless, I'm not going to shy away from wearing a jacket because it's red. I also love how this leather is "gummy" and stretchy but extremely light and supple. It should work very well for beating up a bit, which I definitely plan to do once I can bring myself to torture it a bit.
Haven't heard anything from Jonathan in a while, maybe I will bug him again, though I hate to since I know he's so busy haha. But ****, this really gets me pumped!

Typical. We'd all kill each other to get to just examine that jacket for an hour and a dick like that gets to wear it, and hates it. So, not the guy from Blur then, but a lucky SOB regardless.
