Fight Club Tyler Durden T-shirts?

As far as AJ's jacket goes, I think he mentioned that both his and pitt's were made in what is probably a size 42. Considering pitt was very slim in the film and Aj is a muscular guy, I would have probably checked if a size 44 would have worked better. Other then that, I think the jacket is as I said, the closest anyone is going to get, and if you could put it on someone with a very slim body like pitt, you'd see it. I'd like to see some close up pics.

I hope its not getting boring, but for those who are interested in it I wanna show what a struggle is this flight pamphlet.

I just got some screen captures from Shpongled and realized the fat dude needs correction, now it looks like this

By the way, those screen captures helped a lot buddy, thanks for them.

Absolutely, no problem! Glad to help. That last panel is a real bitch to go off the .jpg with haha! It's looking really solid now.

I am serious about putting this in some planes – can't wait!

Actually mine are a size 40. :)

AJ, it looks great! I really like the fit and hang. That's probably about as close as it will ever be. I'll have to see how the red works for me whenever it arrives, but it looks good on you. What is the lining like?

I was trying to capture the color of my Mayhem last night, and if it's the same leather, it's incredibly hard to capture the right color. I was taking pics in low lighting where the jacket looked almost crimson but it kept turning out BRIGHT RED in the pictures. Natural light is another animal completely. So I think seeing it in person is going to be the deciding factor. But regardless, I'm not going to shy away from wearing a jacket because it's red. I also love how this leather is "gummy" and stretchy but extremely light and supple. It should work very well for beating up a bit, which I definitely plan to do once I can bring myself to torture it a bit.

Haven't heard anything from Jonathan in a while, maybe I will bug him again, though I hate to since I know he's so busy haha. But ****, this really gets me pumped!

Yes the color is definitely hard to capture when light shines on it. The close up of the shoulder stitch is in my opinion the closest to the color.

Also, can you take some pics of the jacket without the crease fold you did. Like the stock jackets come?

Yes I will definitely have some more pictures up later. I took some quick ones last night. One thing is this leather creases very easily and molds well.

Absolutely. Thats what I thought when AJ mentioned that Pitt's jacket was a 42. I figure him in those days as a perfect 40, but loose 42. I don't see the FC jacket being a perfect Suit-style fit 40 for him. I think it couldve been a 42 but that depends on how small he actually was.
There's no way Pitt wears a size 42, at least not in the days of FC. He was probably closer to a 40.

Actually, AJ said 40, not 42 . . .

Ok as for the sizing, Brad Pitt's Fight Club jacket is a size 40. I do modeling and I am signed with a major agent (Ford) and I can generally eye clothes and tell you how they would fit on me. His jacket was the same size as mine and I wear a 40 also.

His tank top looks to be a small - medium, - medium, the Toucan Shirt if it is a true vintage would be a medium (I can show a shirt with the exact same fit) or if it was by today's standards probably a small, the red stripe with white stripe track pants are a size medium I would say, the newspaper pants look to be about a small-medium (They could fit tight), the mayhem jacket looks like a 40 also or possibly a little smaller than the red jacket.

ha! awesome. Good find! My error. Damn so if the screen jacket was a 40 and looked that comfortable on pitt, then he must've been really really thin in certain scenes

Yeah I have always worn a size 40. Usually males between 5'9-6'0 generally wear a size 40 unless you have a really stocky build or weight. My chest measurement is only a 40. Brad Pitt's height is somewhere between 5'10-5'11 he is notorious for using lifts in his shoes.

You can also really tell his build difference look at him wearing the toucan shirt when they first arrive to the Paperstreet house and he takes the jacket off compared to when he is doing the nut shots on the guy during one of the fight scenes. He probably had a good 5-10 lbs difference in weight for those scenes.

The thicker jacket looks better, but the color doesn't seem right still on either.

For that price Im not wanting the JAL if its not going to be an exact Replica through and through.
I wonder how the new SR Jacket holds up compared to JAL's.
There jacket color looks more rugged also.
Hmm.

Iv gotta say I'm with you on this.
The jacket looks good but the thicker one looks better. Maybe it's because it's brand new mind.
But still for the money you gotta Pay for the Logan of expect the collar to be screen accurate.
I did see a post of someone who paid a totall of $1200 to get the dipped/dripping collar that the movie one has.
Shoulders do look great though!

But I also would like to see how the SR compares to the Logan.

My old SR made with dapper leather has aged so well but it also lacks the accuracy on the collars and brightness.
Its thinness though makes it hang amazingly.

I plan to get the latest SR so il post pics for you guys to comment either positive or negitve to help us all decide what we each prefer.
I gotta say it must be cool to say you have a tailored jacket by the maker of the screen used one :)

Thanks for sharing AJ ! :)

I would also point out that the thicker jacket is over 2 years old and been worn a lot more. The new jacket was worn once when I took the photos and was packaged in a box. It still has to get shaped and worn.

There is definitely a huge difference in the feel. I could post some video of the two jackets. The thinner one moves with the body rather than looking bulky and constricting. He thinner is lightweight and allows for more mobility. If you watch a video of the two it will really illustrate it. I will put something together.

Frodo, AJ's new jacket has the exact same collar as Pitt's had. It's the same. Youre not taking into consideration that pitt was slimmer and the jacket fit differently on him then on Aj. Very close, but looser on Pitt. That collar you mentioned that was made sloping for that buyer was all wrong. It was soft and saggy like a shirt collar. The screen used jacket never had that collar, it was just distressed and washed and beaten to ****. Logan did that collar by request, and the buyer basically wanted the stock collar to sag and curve downwards. I dont own a logan and Im no expert, but the original jacket was made out of lamb, and had shoulder pads. Aj's is just that. Now, wash it, toast it, and paint it, and I'm pretty sure it will look exactly like the screen used jacket once it is broken in. Aj is 100% right, the cow leather is heavy and tough as hell, and would never come out looking like the screen used jacket no matter what you do to it. After distressing the cow, it will come out looking like a biker jacket. point being, NO ONE will ever have a jacket that looks 100% identical to the screen used jacket, because the measurements were made for pitt, and the person wearing it was pitt. If you can transform your body to the exact height, weight, and measurements pitt had in fight club, then maybe you can achieve the exact look.

lol. I'm telling you, if my girlfriend agreed to not leave me for purchasing the new and improved Logan, I'd do it tomorrow. But that's not going to happen.

Very good points. Due to the distressing, the jacket is really unique. However, the jacket we have access to now is the exact same base and color as Brad Pitt's jacket. If you were to distress it and if you wanted to do the brown / black painting on it then it would be near identical.

Case in point, there were two jackets used in the movie. While they were the exact same jacket, they look different due to the paint and distressing.

I will be sure to post some more pictures this weekend I have someone visiting me but will soon.
