Factory Entertainment - SDCC 2024 booth preview - Phaser Rifles, Time Circuits, and more!

There's a bunch of differences with that SNW Phaser prop and the aluminum heroes Paramount has shown before, and the changes are ugly. I really dislike that they've swapped the power switch/stun switch from what has been shown on screen before.

I really hope production doesn't start using them as props.

Welcome to Factory Entertainment where accuracy is very much optional.

Since the P1 body covers the battery on the actual props and is "held on by magnets" per the prop master, I'm guessing tiny set screws to hold the P1 in place.

The one thing that really annoys me, is that the fellow who oversaw the project(s) put his birthday on the mag plate of the assault phaser, at least put one of the known serial numbers on there. The ego. That said, I missed out on the MR assault phaser and it's the one phaser I don't have in my collection... so it's a go for me. I know the spring-loaded slide release isn't canon, but as an owner and enthusiast of firearms, I like that aspect of it. I also like that I can choose between the STV and STVI sounds. If I have the money, I'll probably also get the SNW phaser, although I do have an okay replica of that... having one in full metal with anodized paint and sounds is the bees knees.
