Factory Entertainment - SDCC 2024 booth preview - Phaser Rifles, Time Circuits, and more!

The Phoenix looks like it was from Cults3d though, not designed by Connor or FE. Lot of comments about it on the Tested video.

Good thing someone took pictures, as I past the booth several times in LV, but did not think to take and post images here.

Geordi’s VISOR up for preorder at $500 - Star Trek - Geordi La Forge Visor Limited Edition Prop Replica

Another “blended execution” combining elements of the various iterations of the prop. I’m no VISOR expert so I don’t really know how much this differs from any single version of the screen used props.

I think it looks good, although for $500, would have liked something you could actually wear.

I’m on the fence with this one…

Thoughts?

From the description.

The frame of the replica is cast from an aluminum alloy,

AKA, cold cast resin.

Interview video with Factory Entertainment, showing the Next Gen tricorder in action, along with the Star Trek 5 and Strange New Worlds phasers:

In all examples they "improved" the prop designs. They point out that the P1 in the assault phaser was a concept, but not used. They bragged about changing the spring action to better match the "intent" of the prop. Who are these for? To spend that kind of money on a prop and have the manufacturer change it to suit their opinion on how it should have been, not matching how it was.

Over $600 for Geordi’s Banana Clip (tm), over at The Star Trek Shop?

Good luck, fellas…
