Dragon gets Star Wars licence

Can anybody confirm whether Dragon's Falcon is indeed the same FM kit with a new dish?

I believe the Falcon priced at around the $80 marque at Dragon USA was the Finemolds kit, not Dragon's future release. Considering how Revell's Master Series kits were sold nearly identical to the prices your LHS would charge for the FM kits, I'm not holding my breath.

Recent from dragons twitter. What a complete peice of low detail ****. They got this so wrong its not evn funny.

Did they hire Ed Mirecki to do the paint job on that Falcon, or what?

Hey now. I happen to know Ed and he is good at what he does. Don't be trying to imply that he had a hand in a less than stellar paintjob on a kit buildup just because you happen not to like it. I know he is criticized for restoration of a certain model at the Smithsonian, so much so he doesn't talk to ANYONE about it to this day. But he has done SO many other things that have exceeded expectations (the Cardassian Galor class ship for instance, a VERY well done studio model of something that was originally intended to be just a "guest ship of the week" in TNG).

I have seen a lot worse done with Falcon models. So at least it isn't as bad as the Hallmark ornament done back in the 90s.

Dragon has some more prototypes... 1/144 scale again:

The AT-ST appears to be a scaled-down version of their 1/35th scale model, well detailed for its size IMO. Those better be 3D-printed prototypes, it's quite evident that there's serious and ugly warpage on the X-wing's laser cannons. They'll need to plan where their sprue attachment points go to avoid such ugly deformity or perhaps thicken the part itself.

Lighten up Francis, it was a joke.

The canopy on the that T-70 is taller than the body itself, the side shot is awful. Way out of proportion. Can't wait to compare it to the Bandai 1/144 kit.

I didn't know Bandai is releasing a 1/144 T-70 kit- What else is in the plans?
