I will never forget how the Red Letter Media guy said something like they gave Star Wars to some guy. Like it was a random guy off the street.
I did like Brick from Rian Johnson. I still haven't seen his Knives Out movies yet. I suspect that I'll like them. He talks about the casino shot in Star Wars when he visited the French video store.
I put the movie on my watch list. It's an interesting insight into his thinking.

Despite vowing to never watch them again, I rewatched the five Disney films, just last year. Enough time had passed for the wounds to heal, and this was purely to analyze the trainwreck and learn from it.
Johnson’s audio commentary for TLJ is particularly fascinating, because it was ostensibly recorded before the film was actually released. You really get a sense of his simple-minded enthusiasm for his first-draft of a story, and why he made certain choices. He comes across as a sort of jolly, well-meaning simpleton who’s very laid-back and very proud of his little movie.
It’s a frozen moment in time, just before the heavy backlash led him to calling people “manbabies”, and insisting that Jake Skywalker was “100% consistent” with the character from the original trilogy.
Brilliant visual director, horrible writer, horrible director. His work on BREAKING BAD tricked me into thinking TLJ might be great.
Now, BREAKING BAD is like a beautiful car with three tiny scratches (…one of which is the single best episode in the entire series, but that’s due to the quality of the writing, and Vince Gilligan being an excellent showrunner). The car is still beautiful, but you know those scratches are there, and it drives you crazy. And I don’t look forward to everyone singing Johnson’s praises in the audio commentaries and documentaries when I eventually do a full rewatch of BREAKING BAD with all the Blu-Ray extras,

He did. By ripping it off, mixing it with ROTJ, and switching the order of the plot beats around a little bit.
With my ex giving me a bunch of the Star Wars stuff we got back in the day, I decided to hang a few pieces in the bathroom.
These three here.
The walker was already above the toilet, but now Yoda lifting Luke's X-wing is now added.
It all goes well with the shower curtain I've had for like 6 years now.
Sadly, there is no room for a towel holder anywhere in there, and this is the master bathroom, so here it has to hang.
I guess I could have removed the ring (in the reflection) that has smaller hand towels in it, and out the main towel holder there, but it would be really high up.
Oh well, too late now.

Anyone, raising anything out of a swamp should not be displayed next to a toilet.

I saw an old quote from Lucas saying that he never thought the Jedi and Sith fought any huge wars, they just had differences. I will actually disagree there because I think the way it was in the EU makes a lot more sense. Look how many wars have been fought in human history over religion, often INSIDE the same religion. I'd like him to tell more about that because I don't know why the Sith would go through the trouble of wiping out the Jedi after thousands of years if they just disagreed. There's gotta be some major wars or something.
OK, in an attempt to not be banned, my lightly historic but generically named example would counterpoint that in some real life instances where globally controlling entities had infighting but rarely factional wars because the intrigue level kept most commoners from knowing that the elites were having it out.
