My bad, not a T-70 but a T-65.

If they do a Tie Fighter, too, I'm going to have to pick up a few of each. I was planning on moving to 1/48 builds after my 1/72 run, but now I think I'm going to do 1/144 models next. I already have the Bandai MF...might as well add to that.

One of the photographs of the AT-ST and T-70 show what's apparently a 1/144th scale AT-AT in the background.

Dragon's process of product development is painful to watch as the reaction they receive from discerning modelers whenever they unveil photographs of their new kits have mostly been negative while giving no hint of a definitive release date, leaving everyone hanging.

Yes it will. I hope though that the smaller ships, like the X and Tie, are at least in scale with each other.

If it is 'MechaCollection' then it is mostly box scale, which is one reason I avoid that line of kits. I have waited decades for scifi kits to be released in matching scales and I am not about to take a step backward now. The only exception would be a subject I really really want to the point of buying a gaming miniature ot it, like the Trade Federation Lucrehulk-class doughnut ship.

That Badai collection is going to be like the Titanium series and Bandai's Yamato mecha series. You will only get things in scale with each other pretty much by accident. They are made to all be the same size regardless of scale. You'll have a lot of settling for "close enough"

The not settling has saved me enough money over the years to get what I do get pretty much regardless of cost.

So are they doing two different versions? I'm not an ATST guy but this looks pretty badass. Is it any more accurate than that other version we saw?

Not accurate to any of the AT-ST built for the movies.
The head is weird, the side panels are not long enough with wrong proportions :/

They've just shortened the legs but that's all... Everything else is still wrong by a long way.

I don't think there's any change to the legs, the one is this pic just has the legs posed differently. The older pic showed the legs stretched out almost straight.

The middle leg part and the one connected to the ankle are definitely shorter by a lot !
