sweet, hey soul I wanted to ask you about the acrylic paint, seeing as how i have a rinzler disc how can i make it so that the pint seems more glossier?
to put it simply how can i make it look like a shiny new disc?
O.k. dumb question time! You mention that you have some upgrades to the switch, and other such details. When will the full kits with extra instructions, and upgrades be available? Also have you been able to fix some of the problems ( air bubbles, and such ) from some of the past? I guess I'm just waiting for the best kit, but I don't want to miss out on the run!

Wait a minute. How did you get the entire C-Ring fully lit on the back? Your instructions say that in order for the C-Ring to be fitted and lit, the battery cover has to form a window.

I probably won't get to the new set of instructions and be able to offer the alternate switches or AC/DC power options until I finish shipping the week 7 orders. The small air bubble problem persists, but I've fixed most of the major air bubble issues. Right now it is the best it's going to get with this material. But I do still think it is the best material around offering the greatest light dissipation possible! I'll post a comparison picture to show the vast difference between my translucent white thermoplastic rings vs a standard clear KFlynn ring soon.

Hey got my kits and they look great. Thanks for the hard work. Can't wait to tear into this project when I have more time.
O.k. That's cool! I already picked up one of the basic kits, and modified a
disc myself. But I could only get my leds ( about 80 ) to power up off an adapter! The 2, 12 volt batteries could only last about 5 minutes! I used 3mm Led's though, and not the smaller ones you offer.Sooooo. I plan on getting one of your full kits soon!

I really don't want to sound like a jerk, but I'm frustrated to see that new kits are still shipping out regularly without resolving significant defects (bubbles, warping, marred surface, yellow tint) that make some kits "unbuildable" for buyers like myself. I hope the new kits have much higher quality ring castings for future buyers, but I am still waiting on a replacement outer ring for the one that shipped with my WEEK 3 kit:

I haven't received my Week 5 Sam kit yet.
Not nitpicking, but I think what happened is there was such a long delay between ordering and shipping that my work has since moved offices twice, and I think you have my original mailing address from 2010.
In theory it should have been forwarded, as it's just across the street...

JediG60racer, I've already responded to your PM. Your payment was received mid Feb 2011, not in 2010. Your package was shipped to the paypal provided address April 26th.
QuartZ, I understand your frustration and I'm happy to report that the new mold is curing as of this moment! I'll have your replacement shipped out just as soon as I can. Again, my apologies and thank you for being so patient with me.

my disc had bubles as well but very small nothing to be upset about, i just wanted to say great work on delivering my kit. and i had to ask, do we need to use E6000 glue?
