Cyberpunk city diorama

Yep !..., As a father of young, single ‘adult’ children ( a boy & girl ) , I appreciate your concerns regarding their ‘choices’ Katsu-san !.
I’m just hoping ( praying ) that their life choices are so much more successful than mine, and as long as they’re happy, healthy and safe...., well, that’d be my dream come true !
I always thought, growing up that my parents ‘stressed out’ too much !...., but I realise now, that it’s more than stressful...., it’s bloody insane !:oops:o_O

My mother was a severe stressor to me.
She has always pushed her intention on me.
The girlfriends to be steady, the books to read, the woman that I should marry...
I hated it. So, I don't want my kids to have the same way.

The "Letting go" part is always the most complicated...but it has to be done. Sometimes, someone has to do their own mistakes to give them a clear path toward something better;)
Oh, yeah! In fact, I was obliged to show a clear path to my kids by doing many mistakes. That was a tough part for me but thanks to my sacrificial behavior, my kids are doing good so far. I was such a great bad example!

Today, a high-pressure washer has arrived.
Assembled it and fed the water. That's superb!
Tiles of the front porch, window frames, sun shades, and exterior walls.
Spent the half whole day washing many things with my wife. $100!
Very good cost performance.

While I don't have kids of my own, I see plenty of parents, older and younger than me, who either hold too tight on their kids, to which the kids group up and sometimes totally go extreme in their own ways which don't end up well. Or, parents let them do whatever, which normally ends them up in jail real fast. Need that balance. Every kid is different, so its tricky at times.

Ahh, Yes, that's the view of the third person. It is always fair. Love is blind. Yes, not too much, not too less. Hands off but keep watch. Keep listening to them and don't advice if they don't need it. Balancing. Very complicated.
Just like when you fall in love with someone. Don't carry the glass full of water. It will be spilled. Just leave a little allowance and carry slowly. Don't pour all your love at once. It will be someone's load.

Yes, Tom-san.
I suppose there is the same thing written down on the wall of the pyramid. n the other hand, if I hadn't had kids, I would be more idiot man. I've learned many things. 'Parents are a mirror of children' also 'Childres are a mirror of parents. Now I understand the true meaning of this.

Well, the materials I ordered have arrived.
Hoping my idea works.
Oh, don't anticipate too much. That's an insignificant thing.

A little progress.
Now I'm working on this lower right-side corner building.

I started to decorate the facade of the pleasure building.
I used the plastic folding container box I found in a dollar shop.

I planted the strip UV LED lights around the front and painted them with gold over matt black.

Then I lined up a couple of 2 mm diameter clear acrylic rods.

Then I painted the rods with UV fluorescent paint. This paint is paint for a body or a face. so, it's not suitable for spreading over slick surfaces like this. So, I painted it and sprayed clear lacquer paint. I've done this process several times. Maybe there's another good paint but I couldn't find it. The rods glow slightly under the room lights.

And in a dark lit up UV lights.

This is what I thought.

Thanks for watching.

Thank you, my friends. It's so a pleasant comment to hear first thing in the morning and I'm happy the idea worked as I expected.
I already tried to make some letters with a wire and paint it with that UV glow paint. It looked good. So it will be good for neon signs. How about drawing some graphics on clear plates or thin sheets? It might look like a holographic. Or paint the pedestrian with that paint. It might be looking cool.

I've been working on the second stage of the house repairing the last few weeks. It's almost done and I will be back on the workbench (for the model) soon.

I washed the wall with a high-pressure water washer and repaired the wooden grills over those windows. Those grills were in terrible condition and I had to strip all the paint and run the plane all over the surface. For the high window, I was lucky that I did not have a height phobia. I did it alone while she went to work. and It took a whole week.

Yesterday, we made a few steps from the front porch down to the parking space. It's so-so work of us. We got heavy muscle pain due to kneading a bag full of concrete.

My wife bought an outdoor fire cooking pit. After the hard work day's end, we cooked some simple food on this pit and had some beer or wine, and baked some marshmallows and, had some hot bitter coffee. My wife is crazy about starting the log fire.

Finally, my wife occupied the room that was my daughter's ex-workshop. I had to bring that sofa and furniture upstairs. It's OK, she looks so happy. ;)

I'll post the progress of the model, soon. Really.
Thanks for looking!
