Cyberpunk city diorama

I have never heard about this vehicle till now. It had been developed in 1939 for arctic exploration by the US government team. Although the project has been abandoned and this vehicle could not show any planned capability but still it's so impressive. In 1939! Hats off!

This vehicle was also abandoned at the project's end and still missing in the Arctic ice.

Agree with @SmilingOtter’s latest post mate !...., you’re a ‘bloody show off !’ , but that’s what I love and admire about ya !:unsure::p

Nothing to hide from my good friends. Ged-san.:notworthy:

Wow you have been busy!

Congrats on those accomplishments

A nice welcome home present for your wife

Thank you, Analyzer-san.
There are no ends to the housekeeping job. One after the other right away.
Yesterday, I had to work on the broken closet door. 9 feet by 8 feet, the heavy folding doors hanging down from the ceiling. Some of the mountings of wheels were cracked and the doors were dropped out. I carried out the ladder and repair it somehow. You have no idea how many times I climbed up and down the ladders and how I fixed it. The doors were completely fixed and running so smoothly. My honor as a modeler was preserved. Maybe I should take a video and put it up on YouTube or...

Never mind.

Wow...love the vehicle design...very Thunderbirds (y) (y)
Right! I thought it might one of the episodes I missed.

The wheels reminded me of this pic:

Oh, Yes! The first episode, Fireflash!
I am so glad you know that!!
That must be a rubber tire of RC planes I guess.
Thunderbirds was A sensation for the Japanese movie special effect people.
It influenced the Japanese TV show Ultra Seven so much.
We’ve mostly grown up with a ‘taste’ of what’s ‘out-there’ beyond our own experiences Katsu-san, and we’re trying to achieve that ‘flavour’ again and again...., you’re doing this exceptionally well, with your work mate.
Thankyou. Best wishes to you and yours !

At last, I got back to the workbench.
I've started to build the building beside the apartment building.

In those frosted bubbles, there may be women (or men) with obscene poses to seduce you.

About three months after we got sick and got that problem, we've got back to what it used to be. Or better than it used to be. My daughter Yuki got a good apartment. 3 rooms with kitchen and a small garden outside. Enough space for a couple of sewing machines and a large work table. All on her own. She is an independent woman mow. My wife is happy and more cheerful than before. Most of all, she is fine and has no worries about her physical.

It is all thanks to your sincere support that made me get over that nightmare.

Thank you so much, my friends.
It's not good enough to put up the pics for now but I've just wanted you to know that I get back.
I keep posting the progress.

That ‘other’ building is looking interesting Katsu-san ! , and we’re waiting to see how this project all comes together when you’re finally happy with it !
So glad to hear that you and your family are doing well my friend !.
If l may say so..., you’re a very lucky person, and that the foundations that you and your wife created with your children and with each other began well before you started ‘generously’ sharing anything with us.
Take care, and please keep sharing !(y)

Thank you, Ged-san!
Nothing story to be proud of but I am so happy to share many things happening around me. :notworthy:

Great to hear things are back better than before!

Also nice to see some new model work. Love the ideas

Thank you, Analyzer-san!
All the best to your family.
How is your daughter's new semester? :D

Excellent news Katsu-san:notworthy::notworthy: Glad to hear that your daughter found a nice and big, apt. The garden looks fantastic; I could see myself soaking the sun's rays on that wooden deck. The build is really going into that Blade Runner World with those transparent bubbles...:cool:(y)(y)

Thank you for the pleasant comment, joberg-san!
Here I have another idea to try. Some kind of illumination but I've never seen the way I am gonna try. I am ordering the materials right now. (Not that exaggerated things):p
I will post up the result soon.

Glad to be in this adventure called Life with you (all), Katsu-san

Yes, my life is an entire adventure every year.
There may be no time to rest in peace that would come.
Thank you, George-san!

For almost one month, I have been walking around the house inside and out and fixing and repairing anything I found here and there. And I realize there are so many things to take care of for this 40-year-old house. Today I scraped the old paint off the window shades. While I was doing that, I got a call from my daughter. She wants me to make a small table with a shelf that fits beside the laundry machine. She gave me each size and ask me to lay pretty tiles all over the top. She said she will pay off for that. Of course, it should be.
;) I can buy more materials for my model!
